I find it amusing Laverty chose to tweet that without stopping to consider that perhaps the fight is the exact reason MM is a double world champion and why he himself is a never-was.

Turned out that Rossi's ... at Marc on Thursday wasn't so unwarranted. Marc actually was/is purposely out to prevent him from racing with Lorenzo.

I haven't read the boards yet. Why bother. It looks like 100 pages of excuses. I never really cared for Marquez or Rossi but I did respect the hell out of Rossi as a racer. It's pretty clear now that all those punts over the years wer not "race incidents". I have zero respect for him now. He has never won a GP championship when the title was in contention. He's only won when he could run away due to superior equipment. Give him a little bit of pressure and he gets dirty and cracks. On the flipside I am now a fan of Marquez. Rossi talked ...., attempted to bully him and the kid came back and punched him right in the mouth. He's a scrappy little ...... that doesn't take any ..... I love that attitude. Krop said years ago that Mark does not give a .... about who you are. BTW Krop. I signed up for your forum, made one clean racing take and you ban me. Not only from the forum but from your website. I can't even read your articles, You're a stellar businessman dude.
I said this would be the biggest choke job in the history of GP racing and it sure was.

Been lurking here forever...this pushed me to sign up.
Let me start off by saying I'm a team Ducati dickrider, which means I'm disappointed 99% of the time. My point is, I'm not on team Rossi, or team Marquez.
That being said, I swear that the Rossi haters are almost worse than the damn Rosi fanboys.

Did Marquez let Lorenzo pass so he could fux with Valentino?
- you bet your ... he did.

Did Valentino lose his fukn cool?
- that pretty much goes without saying.

Marquez totally could've avoided crashing into Velentino when he pulled that ......... Which in turn, would've made Valentino REALLY look like an ......

They BOTH did some seriously idiotic .... today. I lost a little respect for BOTH of them today.
What a ...... ending to a great fukn season.

As much as I hate to say it, the ONE person I never really cared for turned out to be the one that I respect the most this season...Dani Pedrosa. It pains me to admit that.

Rossi's remarks on Thursday caused the scene we saw on Sunday IMO. Had Rossi simply showed up Thursday and not dumbfounded the paddock with his absurd allegations I suspect Marc would have given a bit more quarter. Instead, his attempt at mind games backfired. He threw down the gauntlet but this time the other guy ran over and picked it up.

Even Diplomatic Dani called out Rossi's double talk ........ regarding his defense of SuperSic. Rossi now wants a different set of unspoken rules that support his campaign. Dani and Rossi are reasonable friends but the irony of Rossi's talking points were too absurd to be left alone.

Dani is a stand up guy. He's also terribly underrated and over-hated. Particularly by Americans. Jumkie should be blamed for that!

You should feel no pain dude. Dani is a great rider, an intelligent guy and he deserves some success.

It is odd. I really like Krop's stuff. I look forward to reading it and I enjoy his participation here but he does occasionally come off as very thin skinned. That being said, does anyone know for sure if he personally moderates his site/forum? Is it possible that another member/moderator banded him?

Totally agree - He has been awesome since coming back after getting over his injuries.... just got on with the job without any fanfare.

Race direction only stated that Rossi ran Marc wide and the result ended up being a crash (that result came because Marc chose to turn into Rossi). That's not the same as you stating Rossi punted Marc off his bike. Try again, you should know by know your elementary insults aren't working for you. Not sure why you think following your opinion with a childish insult somehow makes you sound more right.

I thought the boppers were fans of hard racing. Wasn't this what they admired about Rossi. Think corkscrew 08. We didn't see not one move like that by Marc. Suddenly this kind of racing isn't fun anymore?

Indeed. Dani said the exact same thing in the presser. Rossi has championed hard racing even when it didn't involve him. He routinely defended Sic when Sic was clearly making a mess for himself and other riders.

I would think Rossi would've had no issues rubbing paint with Marc if he was still in contention for the title. Rossi has gotten the better of Marc each time Marc has made contact with him, so if Marc was still in contention for the championship, I would think Rossi would prefer the contact.

I think I remember a guy named Stoner, didn't know he was a racer... I saw him on a ESPN fishing program.
