MotoGP: 2016 Round 12 - Octo British Grand Prix Silverstone Circuit UK (SPOILERS)

Hahaha, Yamfan, the rules do NOT apply to Rossi. That ........ penalty on Zarco reaffirmed that rules are only for everyone EXCEPT The ONE.

Zarco was given a ride through, but because it was too late in the race, they assessed a 30 sec penalty was equal to a ride through, resulting in zero points scored for Zarco. Nice way of tightening up the championship. This was for a RACING INCIDENT, not a deliberate malicious maneuver to eliminate a fellow competitor. Lowes said, if I didn't score any points, neither should Zarco. Except, Zarco's move was not malicious nor intended to eliminate Lowes. Race Direction said to defend their decision not to issue a ride through to Rossi at Sepang (defended by our fearless media) that they had to consider the fact Rossi was a points leader "the impact on the championship"). Rossi was not only issued no points penalty for that race, but was allowed to KEEP his 16 points! What do you think of that Mr. Lowes? Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't Zarco the points leader? Uhm, no such consideration for Zarco? Hey, make him start from the back at Misano, give him his points back for Silverstone, right? Wasn't that the precedent Race Direction set? The double standard applied should be front page scandal. Our fearless GP media should be asking the riders in the press conference their thoughts on such a glaring double standard being applied. They should be calling Race Direction on the carpet. But as usual, they're chickenshit.

RULES DON'T APPLY TO ROSSI.

If you live in a glass house, don't throw rocks.

Zarco should have been disqualified from the results, Lowes was on for a podium finish and Zarco took him out. Sams brother Alex received a DQ for taking down Shane Byrne in BSB a few years back.

DQed for a non malicious, not overly ambitious racing incident by a guy who doesn't have a history of dangerous racing? Then they need to DQ all of Moto3, half of Moto2, and every rider that in MotoGP that has ever inadvertently crashed out another rider in an execution of human error. Cal Crutchlow should have been suspended after the first three races as an ongoing menace to the grid, a ticking time bomb, ready to explode on some unsuspecting fellow competitor, not the least being himself.

If you make contact with the other rider you are trying to overtake and that contact takes them down, then yes it is overly ambitious as you've gone in way too fast.

Let me put it this way if I was a racer and you took me down while trying to overtake(malicious or otherwise) not only would I be seeking a DQ, I'd be placing my fist in your face.

But the precedent had already been made last year when a totally malicious attack was used to take another rider out.

You must have had a blast buddy. I gotta make a return to Shiverstone someday. Maybe next year i can get one of those passes you were trying to get rid of. I still have the ringing in my ear from you yelling at the top of your lungs, "COME ON CAL!!!! Haha, I admit he's not my favorite Brit, as you know my man is Redding, who had an atrocious home GP. God it was sad. But kudos to Cal for racing like his life depended on it, and against a tough adversary. He won this battle. So congrats to him, and you, 22, Arrabi, and all his fans. (Btw What you think of the black and white curbing, seemed weird to me. Maybe it's my OCD).

I saw the Moto2 race just yesterday, can someone explain why Zarco got a penalty? I get the part why the move was bad, going on the curbing and all, but .... these guys make minor mistakes with consequences all the time, why was this singled out? Zarco isn't a repeat offender. Think of mistakes at the start of a race when mistakes are made for example, seemed like a run of the mill racing incident. We could make a case either Baz or Pol caused their accident if this is the standard. Btw, why are you asking Shove to post a racing opinion on whatApp? I want to read his opinion too brother, dude has some great insider info. Is there some secret WhatsApp group or something? Can I join? Or at least cut and paste Shov's extended WhatsApp take on the forum so I can read it.

Shiverstone was a blast, But after returning I have been working away from home came back straight to Oulton for yesterday, ps got you an ace pic of Haslam, you still on the same email? it's from the camera not the phone.
Yeah I know I shout for all the brits week in week out, I can't help it, But I don't follow any one rider. I find I enjoy the racing much more, and it's less heartache should we lose another, god forbid. You know my record of riders I have followed that are no more,
The black and white curbs are for this season, it is something to do with some anniversary that Shiverstone is celebrating.
I asked Shove for a private word exactly for the reason you said, he has insider info also is good friends with one person tends to both helmets from both riders so was hoping to hear his take too, This would not be fair on that particular person if his words were plastered here without his knowledge.
Anyway I got Sams take yesterday in confidence from his personal press organiser, We were invited to Oulton to meet and talk business about the photography side of our business and them using our photos etc, I can feel those media jackets getting closer buddy;).
BTW they do the press for Hickman too so was in the JG Speedfit Kawasaki garage after warm up. Told Haslam you loved him:giggle:
Back on the road tomorrow, See ya next week, or wassap me hahaha it's fcuking spreading, must be contagious hahaha :p:cool:
