Regarding birdman's comments about Rossi sandbagging. I don't really think he's sandbagging, but I do think when the championship starts the European rounds Rossi will be very strong. The fact that he's getting on the podium while "struggling" means Maverick & Marquez better not sleep on him.

Wow, I would like to quote several comments, but then I would have something that looked like an outline for a high-school history assignment. Sooooo, I will not do that.

If the darn fourth tire were allowed, then this boring darn race would not have happened. The Honda Riders and the "Rat" have themselves to blame for handing the Yamahas the trophies because they did not allow Rossi's special front tire, which really is a Honda front tire. I think I have that right. Not sure anymore, since Rossi seems to be doing just fine on the less than perfect non-Rossi, non-Honda, maybe-Ducati tire.

WHY, oh why, we must have this Yamaha dominance is beyond me. It serves no purpose and reminds me of the Honda V5 days. Marc and Dani can't be crashing out and Dovi needs a guardian angel. Moto2 was not exciting either.

BTW, is Lorenzo hosed, or does he just need to toughen up a bit?

Oh, you'll be MIA from this forum for quite a while if MV hands MM his ... at COTA. I won't be able to call you a hater, but I can't say I'll miss your presence. Good luck next race, keep your bags packed.

About all I can say in response to this is WTF are you on about? Is this trolling? I'm happy as a pig in .... watching the likes of Vinales and especially Zarco this last race. Did you see him lighting it up? ....... fantastic.

Lorenzo says at Assen he felt the front folding. So he heeded the warning and slowed down. Yes to snails pace, but he kept it upright.

You are saying the Honda of Pedrosa looked 'out of shape'. A crash was imminent. But poor old Pedro with what, only about 12 years of experience in the class and I don't know 20 odd wins didn't realise he was exceeding the limit and binned it. He needs to sack Gibbernau as his advisor and take on professor vudu.

Ok that was a little sarcastic I'll admit, but really don't you think Pedrosa & Marquez were pushing because they were feeling good? They getting a warning. Yes Pedro in particular had the bike moving around. That tends to be a characteristic of Pedro on the RCV. He rides this way when he's confident. Ditto Marquez. They, like Zarco at Qatar, didn't think they were pushing too hard, were feeling confident, then suddenly lost the front. BTW were you watching Zarco snapping the bike sideways, getting out of shape, exceeding the limit? Yet somehow he didn't crash, again.

To my eyes Pedrosa looked far more out of shape on the brakes than any other time I've seen him. I don't necessarily think he could afford to back off his pace since he had several riders on his .... If I was Pedrosa's advisor, I'd pat him on the back and tell him "No Guts, No Glory" job well done today.

Zarco was getting the rearend moving around on corner exits, but looked more stable on the brakes. What do you mean by he somehow didn't crash again? He crashed last race.

I'll admit it was entertaining to see Zarco destroy his rear tire while putting on a smoke show. Garry McCoy is somewhere smiling.

Finally something we can agree on. A defining momentous moment for sure.

I meant Zarco didn't crash for the second time, poor punctuation.

Holy smokes I agree, that's twice in a row you forced me to hit the like button. I'm afraid Vudu is in my head I'm done for now folks.

Don't worry, someone to change the subject back to tire delamination and everything will be back to normal. :D

Please no. When people fight its like the threads fall apart in little pieces which is normal but when tires are brought up the thread just delaminates from its core. Its just falls completely apart.

Amazing what tiny shreds of nothing you will grasp at to justify your existence on this forum. At least the other trolls actually input stuff about racing. You only mention racing in threads after someone points out that 999% of your posts are free of any mention of the race.

For some reason he has it in his head that there is a 'secret' WhatsApp group regarding MotoGP and even though there isn't that I know of, he's convinced there is and it makes him bitter. Even if there was, What entitlement he has to be a member baffles me. :giggle:

lol that look on his face was of doom. I'm still hoping he can pull something out this year, but it seems to be a tall order. He really needed to get laps in on that bike at that circuit in race conditions to try and get to grips with the bike further. Valuable experience down the drain. Hope COTA is kinder to the Ducati...well I think Dovi should be in contention there as he's rode well the past several years at the track. Lorenzo, who knows. Hope he has his bank account balance projected on the inside of his visor to remind him why he is there.

One thing I will say, is he has been very unlucky with inconsistent weather and testing programs on the two race weekends we have had. I would hope, that when he gets a clean weekend that isn't interrupted by weather issues that he might be better prepped for qualifying and the race.

Problem with tyre (note the spelling dude :D) discussions is people take chunks out of the conversations and then either go hard or soft in their debate (depending on the forum conditions at the time), some may even choose an intermediate style of path and sit on the fence a little

Ahh good insight Gaz. Only thing worse is the wet tire. As soon as there is any friction it heats up and becomes useless. It must stay watered down to have any chance to make it.

And the problem with the wet side is that things get all slippery and you just do not know if you are 'in the zone' so to speak which can lead to you blowing it. :p

The ones with the Little sideWalls are useless. Nothing but endless chatter

What do you think of Zarco's smoking tire? The old french smoke screen tactic to run and hide? Unlike the normal french he is running forward.

I must admit that I have not seen much so far (I am a lazy ... dude man and was asleep) but if he is smoking his rubber he needs to look at his lubrication technique
