Vinales shows Marquez how it's done once again. Cmon Mav... beat Marquez at COTA and that will hammer home the fact that there's a new sheriff in town.

Excellent 2nd place for Rossi! Struggled all weekend, yet still got the job done in the race.

Good job to Cal as well!

Well... I know a certain crew of posters here that are currently pissed off and they'll be here shortly to tell us all about how Rossi sucks, Vinales isn't that good.. it's all his bike, and Michelin tires suck.

Vinales is certainly cementing being an alien. It's a shame Marquez crashed out as I think we'd have had an epic battle between the two. Great ride by Cal, I know his haters here will be pissed he stayed upright especially when the Repsol Hondas both binned it.

Bad luck for Lorenzo, hoping he gets a clean weekend. Talking of bad luck, Poor Dovi.

Too bad we never got a battle at the front, was hoping to see Rossi catch up to Vinales once MM crashed out. Vinales rode well, controlled the gap perfectly and consistently.

Title is Vinales/Yamaha's to lose at this point.

Great ride for Bautista, Zarco, and Folger.

Race was a little boring as we never got any major battle at the front like was being anticipated during the week. Will see if the factory Honda bikes can regroup for COTA. Chassis still looks problematic. COTA will be the make or break for Honda this year. If they have an okay to bad showing, they're really going to need to do a full scale redesign of that chassis for 2018 since it's not kept up with the M1's development.

It's obvious that the Honda is far too reliant on the front end. Their riders have to take more risks than the Yamahas and that is leading to mistakes from all top riders. The Yamaha like it or not MV is the best bike on the grid by a good way. But Vinaeles is destroying everyone right now so his dominance is not just down to the bike. But All 4 Yamahas were in the top 6, from where I'm standing it looks like Lorenzo(due to his inability to adapt when he can't get good front end feeling) and Rossi have been underperforming on the Yamaha. Smith and Pol made the bike look far worse than it was and Zarco/Folger are showing that the great package that tech 3 have had for a long time never actually stopped being an excellent package.

Stoner in an interview said that some guys are being too front end reliant with the Michelins and that in the end it's very hard to ride them that way.

It's a long season to yet, 37 points with 16 races to go is .... all and Marquez and team will know that, Honda will have their .... relatively sorted pretty soon. The championship is far from over.

Not a classic, but not a snorefest either. MV proving he is rightfully termed as the next alien. Rossi can never be written off even when he looks like the weekend is lost. Cal fully deserved his podium , best Honda on the day too!

Its more plausible than your meanderings

Amazing what tiny shreds of nothing you will grasp at to justify your existence on this forum. At least the other trolls actually input stuff about racing. You only mention racing in threads after someone points out that 999% of your posts are free of any mention of the race.

Kind of disappointing since it would have been nice to see the factory bikes take another step forward after last season, but it looks like the old Ducati step back.

Maybe Gigi needs a Marquez/Stoner to make it work and not a JLo primadonna type rider....

I agree....I still can't understand this long fascination Ducati had with Lorenzo. Unless they thought signing him would give them insight into how Yamaha develops/builds their chassis and maybe they are hoping to mimic that. Can't really think of any other good reason to have been so intent on signing Lorenzo away when he depends so much on stability out of a bike.

JKD is just a cancer to this place who lives to try and run off as many members as he can while periodically whining about Stoner. Then he will turn around and start wondering why no one posts here while ignoring that everyone left because of him. Look at Geonerd who came back briefly. JKD started harassing him right away and he stopped posting.
