I was texting with a member here last night, and we were discussing about how unbelievable it is that a couple of members here post here solely because they are so bothered by the viewpoints some of us hold.

Imagine being so threatened by what gets discussed here, that your entire existence here is based on furiously trying to contradict everything here. And imagine saying you aren't bothered by anyone here, yet never miss an opportunity to mention myself and other posters showing just how obsessed you are with us. One such poster's entire existence revolves around me.

The dozens upon dozens of forums that exist out there which are sympathetic to pro-Rossi supporters and their various viewpoints, yet this backwater forum is where these posters go to because their tribal glory-hunting is not accepted here.

Incredible isn't it?

Why, that would be like moving to a town that is not sympathetic to whatever political views you hold, and then being upset that the town at large votes opposite of what you vote and believe in. You don't have any grounds to be upset since you knowingly come to a place that doesn't share your views/opinions.

Damn. You got invited to the secret chat group?

The problem is you fantastic fauxwads counter the bopper insanity with more insanity. You do have a fairly legitimate VRguement in terms of favoritism but you take it way too far.
I understand how the favoritism has led to where he sits today, but he continues to be competitive enough to be deserving of his seat.
Im more insulted by Pedro's continued tenure on the 4th Alien bike

Yeah, moving to a town is so easy, just like clicking on a web page and everything is done.

Julian Ryder is definitely at the track, he's on the bt sport commentary team.
Fact is Michael, you always have a go at myself and MV when we refute these stupid claims of conspiracy to supply Rossi especially. You always quote Sepang 2015 as your justification for that.
You never ever take a contrary position to these claims though. It's like you always choose the easier targets.

Also to be clear, I am genuinely annoyed at, and consider unjust, how Stoner was treated and saw things going the same way for MM and Lorenzo, and blame Rossi now after late season 2015 as well as his fans for this, and see this and in particular his denunciation of his rivals then as a far bigger issue than you guys getting upset about a few people detracting from Rossi on here mostly for reasons that they are happy to give and you guys don't really very successfully refute, and given that he is so widely venerated in general anyway feel you guys don't have much in the way of a sense of proportion.

I have actually lost patience with MV and JKant more than you, the notion that only those with whom you disagree are biased being one that I find particularly objectionable, to say nothing of arrogant. Of course those who dispute you on here are biased like all of humankind, but I see no evidence of lack of bias on your side of these arguments either, and your comrades in particular seem to have a starting assumption that anything which reflects in any way negatively on Rossi must be untrue and its raising a consequence of bias. They are also imo basically just as disparaging of those who disagree with them as those you find objectionable on the other side of the argument, if in a less florid fashion than some of us.

Still going on about that imaginary secret chat group?

Again Marquezs interview directly contradicts what Michelins/DORNAs press releases stated. How do you explain that? I said that Michelin wasn't to be trusted for many reasons and it would appear that I've been vindicated.

That flew over your head.

Point is, don't go somewhere where you don't like how they do things, and then whine about it to no end. It's interesting how easily the VR46 contingent affixes their tribal banners to anything that they think will bring them glory. In your case, you've affixed several banners to Moto Vudu, JKant, and VR himself as you seek out the ignominious glory of trying to somehow be a martyr for some silly unworthy cause.

You're investing far too much into this Lotty , and you still don't recognise when I'm taking the piss :fishing1:

No, I got what I wanted out of you: you admitting you are nothing more than a troll. ;)

Oh did someone hack my account while I wasn't looking  As if I would say anything like that.
Dear me, you are such a sad case:fishing1:

I think that's just the language barrier. His problem was with the timing of the tyre's introduction - it was late and an unknown factor going into a wet Saturday.

But he did say that a stiffer compound would suit him better and would presumably have given Michelin the same feedback.

“Maybe inside these eight riders [who asked for the older stiffer carcass with the 2017 profile], I can be there, but I complain about the compound of the tyre, not about the profile of the tyre and a different tyre. Looking at the data and what they say to us, this new tyre that they bring here and that they cancelled, can be better for my riding style because it is even stronger.

If it is a little bit more strong it can be better for the brake points for my style, but the point is the time to change this tyre and in the end we follow the rules. In one hand I want to try because it can be better for my riding style.

- Marc Marquez

Crutchlow's statement was along the same lines as well

“I think the situation is clear. A lot of riders complained and said it was really soft, the front tyre this year, and also in Qatar. But to bring it in this weekend was not feasible for us as riders and for the organisation, for arriving on Saturday morning.

I think in the end it was probably the correct decision and with today's weather, when would we ever try it? I don't know if anyone would have tried in the morning warm-up tomorrow and then said 'we race'. In the end I think it's better to bring to another track or something.

But yes, there were some riders who said the front tyre was feeling soft compared to what we had last year. Hopefully we can test something different for the future.”

- Cal Crutchlow

MotoGP, Taramasso: Michelin 2016 front? Requested by many

Many were asking the question yesterday: why has Michelin decided to bring the front tyre with the old carcass to Argentina? In Qatar, Piero Taramasso had assured us that the new tyre for this season had already been selected and that there would be no changes.

In order to solve the mystery, we thought it best to go directly to the source and ask him ourselves.

“It's true that I said we'd decided on the front tyre, but we had spoken before the Losail race - explains Taramasso - Up until then, only Rossi and Iannone had complained about the front tyre and so we'd decided to continue along that path”.

Then what happened?

“At the end of the race, other riders told us that were not sure about the choice, I'm referring to Marquez, Crutchlow, Pedrosa and Aleix Espargarò. The situation changed”.

Various riders and various bikes, with Honda and Aprilia as well as Yamaha and Suzuki…

“Yes, the riders talked about movement bothering them when going into a lean from an upright position. So we carefully analysed the data from the first Grand Prix”.

So you changed your mind?

“After winter testing, we were sure of our choice, also due to the riders' sensations but a race is not the same as testing, in that situation riders push from start to finish. So we've decided to reintroduce a tyre with an old construction, it will be a sort of test, in the most useful conditions possible”.

So the riders can also use it in the race?

“Sure, the more information we have, the better. They will have three compound options with the new construction, plus one with the old”.

Then what?

“After the race we'll decided whether to propose it again at Austin and then we'll decide on the path to take this season”.

Does that mean that you don't want to have two tyres of different construction available throughout the year?

“Exactly, that turned out to be the case last year and we don't want to repeat that. We want to have just one solution and so we need to decide”.

Looking at the Argentina GP, how have you prepared for a race that was so problematic last year?

“We're calm, in terms of the rear, we have the compounds used last year with the Qatar carcass, which proved robust throughout the whole of last year. I'm confident - we no doubt want to do better than last year. The only problem will be the weather but, I repeat, I'm feeling calm”.

Wish they'd show the replay of Lorenzo's crash. They're now saying there was contact with Iannone.

edit: They just showed it. Wasn't Iannone's fault.
