lol. Oh well, so close then.Taka passed him on the last lap
Loved seeing that as well, classy move.Very impressed with Bagnaia, rode like a champ and loved the touch of giving his knee sliders to the young fans.
To me this was a pressure/tension race rather than a race of exciting fairing-to-fairing battles. But, there is ample room for different sorts of races in motorcycle racing.
Rider of the race for me is MM93, easily. It would have been Martin right up to the bitter end of his race.
Martin under investigation for having too much pressure on his shoulders.
It seems Martin doesn't seem to know how much to push early to save some tires unlike Pecco and Marc who are very good in this. The fcuk did Martin do!

Agree with all the above, particularly the gesture with the kids.Well, Martin doing Martin things. I suspect he just cost himself the championship sadly.

Awesome.comback by Marc from a horrible Saturday. As he said, getting a podium woth his brother is better than a win today. Thoroughly deserved podium for Alex too!
I dont think you can blame Morbidelli for the T1 move, its just racing incident and MM being opportunistic for a lunge. I dont think MM worried too much (with the pace he had)We can say what we want about Bagnaia but he rode a great race today. Did what he had to do, and got rewarded for it by keeping close enough to Martin to reap the rewards from an unforced error. I actually think this probably vindicates Ducati for choosing MM over JM. Pecco has been here before so he knows what it takes. I think I said it somewhere else, but that Le Mans race felt like Martin peaked there. Can't really put my finger on what it was, but it felt like he forgot the season doesn't end in May.
I'm a little baffled by Morbidelli today. Frankenstein was riding like a guy with something to prove...maybe too much, when he blew T1 and had the contact with MM, I thought it was a complete bone-headed move. I still don't know where he thought he was going.
I agree. Marc was a bit too optmistic with that one. Franco wasn't far enough out of the groovefor Marc to sneak through on the inside.I dont think you can blame Morbidelli for the T1 move, its just racing incident and MM being opportunistic for a lunge. ItalianGiven Bagnaia's comments about the tyres, both of them had taken things to the limit. It was just a matter of who made a mistake first, allowing the other to cruise to an easy win, in my opinion.
What language were Marc and Pecco speaking when watching the TV replay of Martin's crash?
Did you actually watch the race?Moto 3 and 2 are the only places left to see actual motorcycles racing. How anyone can defend the current state of the Premier Class is beyond me.
