Herr Audi: “Signor Dall’igna, we did another 1-2-3 ja?”

Gigi: “Er… si si we did”.

Herr Audi: “The guys we signed for next year are 1 and 2 ja?”

Gigi: “Er… actually it’s the guys we let go who were 1 and 2”

Herr Audi: “VERDAMMTE SCHEISSE*£<€|%\£|>|\^”….

Hell hath no fury like Ducati Corse riders forced to look for pastures anew.
On the other hand perhaps Ducati will tell Audi that the 3 best riders on the current model Ducati filled the podium places, so it doesn’t really matter who we pick for the 3 GP25s next year, and there won’t be a 4th rider not of the same caliber/probably not of our choosing on a 4th bike next year as per your direction to provide only 3 GP25s next season.

Tbh, it doesn’t seem like Mav said anything outrageous. For sure, he is not a diplomat. I think it is normal to try and figure out why you are slower. Ducati obviously one step ahead.

Aprilia and KTM better step up, otherwise it will be a somewhat monotonous Ducati parade next year.
I agree. He was direct, but nothing outrageous 🤷‍♂️

I agree too, more so analysis of the situation rather than banging on about problems

His remarks were not particularly objectionable, but Mav seems to enter negative headspace quite quickly. He's had back to back mediocre races. This isn't unusual for Aprilia or for Maverick.

Who knows, maybe Mav is always this way and the press only amplify it when Aprilia are actually off the pace, through Aleix didn't look too bad at Silverstone.

I think the answer to that question, regarding Aprilia, will become apparent next yr.

Regarding Maverick, does anyone expect him to do anything different on the KTM? I think he is in for a big shock moving from the family atmosphere at Aprilia to the Pierer Motibility Group

He went from having the oldest guy in gp who is on his way out to having young more talented teammates. He is cooked.

I'm sure Mav's new contract will be his last one in MotoGP.

I used to think this about Jack Miller. Now that his time may be at hand, it bums me out. Probably because this is yet another rider whose MotoGP career I've watched come and go. Time is catching up with me faster than the pack catches Jack on lap 5 of a race.

The reality is there’s only 22 riders in MotoGP and probably as many trying to get in. Some need to go each contract cycle to let new people in.

I’d rather see Miller on Bautista’s bike in WSBK rather than riding around at the back of MotoGP but from what I’ve read I don’t think that Miller wants that

Yes, .... Dorna...we are adults...

Only things missing in the liveries this week were "Marlboro" and "Lucky Strike."
