Sachsenring MotoGP Race (Spoilers)

Awesome race

great job by pedro and some great race craft from Jlo and Casey, Jlo had had to dig deep for that.

Bautista with some great riding as well and starting to become of fan, it was fun watching him and Nicky with the battle of the inferior bikes. Ducati is now last!

Has this been the most competitive season ever!??

I couldn't say who looks like they will win the WC, even Pedro looks back into it to me
<

Finally an edge of the seat race.
<

Dani was awesome. Lorenzo & Stoner was really entertaining.

Even Bautista & the Dukes was great to watch.

What a great race. defo one to watch again
<
<

I'll have to watch it again mate. Fackin' MotoGP channels died repeatedly. I missed 9 tenths of the race.
<

Can't wait for next week when we get to see it live with no freeze up or delays, together.

That ... was awesome!

But please, next time, less airtime for midfield battles, reruns of the start and faces in the pits when there is a really good race at the front going on.

But, wow, awesome.

Agree.... this is the kind of racing, the lack of which we've all been bitching about so much during the 800 era and just now as the formula seems like it might be getting sorted out in terms of more passing and closer racing at the end - the era is closing to an end. Oh the irony.

Watching Dani come back like that (favorite track or not) makes me angry at The Beast all over again for taking Dani out, both for Dani's sake and for the sake of the lost potential for a varied and more vibrant challenge to the championship.

Best race of the season. Unbelievable from Dani all things considered. Well done to Jorge as well I didn't think he'd get Stoner in the end.

Casey seems to be having many more problems than the others but still right on it. Marco must be getting sic of relatively poor race performances compared with his practice pace.

Rossi and Hayden failed to surprise, a great effort from both though. Alvaro was very strong today and thoroughly deserved that.

Well done to Rizla Suk team - that testing sure has helped and a pleasure seeing the blue best further up the placings and battling against as sais 2 ex world champs.

Agree the mid pack footage got a bit much - I kept wondering WTF is happening as I was concerned most about CS as his tyres were giving him more trouble than Pedbot and Lolli.

Great to see the 3 of them taking the lead through the race - as mentioned how was Pedbots drive taking Lolli
<

Dovi I thought was going to stay up there after his first stage of the race, took Ped and CS easy.

Lolli has a great ticker to never give up admire this of he, he certainly is riding as the current champ.

Was it Beattie before the race saying VR has qaulid that low so that it will look good coming up through the field as starting from mid pack he can't get any better ?

Stoner's is pathetic, beaten by his injured team mate and JLo on inferior Yam. Boners must be depressed right now.

Agree, particularly after that nasty spill in warm up. The zook doesn't spend much time on it's side unlike some circuits which is why Sachsenring almost flatters to deceive for the team - or perhaps more fairly allows the bike to show it's potential. Taking nothing away from Alvaro though, he is a class act.

Oh yeah we are drowning our sorrows as we speak

Its a ..... leading the WC! you can only go backwards ..... and its getting to us

I had to turn it off 720 p and it worked fine.

What a race! Everyone was riding great. Well except the two backmarkers. One of the most competitive races I have seen on the 800cc.

About 6 laps in when there was still about 5 guys in it I couln't believe it! It's a shame that Pedro got to pull out a lead because it could have been extra special if it was for the win.

Still, Racing!! More please.

I got to see the race with Arrabi's live commentary ........ That was on 3 hours of sleep after partying in Mexico all day ........

Good race, nobody got away, lead changes deep into the race, podium changes on last lap, middle markers scrapping it up, back markets scrapping it up, one time I don't mind Pedro wining, as it was all earned, Spies nipping Hairball, and no crashers all race, my only regret is seeing Baustista nip Nicky.

Best race this season so far, really enjoyed watching.

Was hoping for Stoner to win, but was well deserved by Pedrosa, the kid really deserves a title. Also Lorenzo ride was great, tough his last pass was due to Stoner mistakes.

Briliant ride from Bautista. He is so right with his post race comments, the 6 leads (Repsol + Yamaha + Sic) are on a league of their own, so he was great today to be first of the rest.

The most refined rider, returned to form, beat the most competitive rider who never gives up, and the most talented one who insists on using only minimum TC even at the cost of using his tires up before the end of the race.

It was a good show.

I have to say that Lorenzo reminded me of the best Rossi today. I will never like him, but chapeau -- he's deserving his world title more and more, riding like a super-champion. It will not be easy for Stoner to take the title from him, after all.

Rossi and Ducati should try the screamer. It's about the only thing they have not tried yet...
