Maybe. Point is Marquez was dominant all weekend. Held the top spot throughout, save for a brief interruption by Dovizioso IIRC. One more or less expected pole position from him. Old man Rossi is more of a conundrum.

I think the coke theory would explain it all. Saves it for a last stage burst (can't be riding high throughout) and goes mental for three minutes... during which I suspect Uccio consumes copious amounts of water. Over the long term, exhibits erratic often paranoid behaviour off-stage.

I think they just have good process... The objective for practice is to cover the space of possibilities to find the setup direction and move toward optimal, not setting fastest lap for a session. So maybe they focus on one thing at a time, test and perfect that element then repeat. Finally, get together and discuss to consolidate the approach then, when it counts, focus on stringing together consecutive, ideal sectors. It's a different mind set.

I think that is a better possibility... but something has to be in it for VDS, they cant just give honda their star rider, lol.

Miller is contracted to HRC not VDS though so it could be easy for Honda to have him step up. Maybe they have Hayden step in for Millers seat again?

I love reading the boppers on other forums turning the TV off and going to sleep. Truly the sport will "miss" a lot after he retires

Wow, Rossi and Lorenzo both crashed out. MM is the champ. Well deserved.

The best rider this year won the championship no doubt.

Perhaps Dorna finagling both the tyres and the ECU in one year was too much, I still think the Michelins are not up to scratch, and top riders crashing out or having tyre problems this year has made individual races a lottery imo. Neither Rossi nor Lorenzo are riders with a record of frequently crashing out over lengthy premier class careers.

No excuse of possibly affecting the world title battle for not racing at PI for Stoner now.

Its as I said earlier this year ...... WTF have Yamaha done! ........ and folk seemed to not notice how far in front Marquez was.

De-stabilised their team and made political decisions in their choice of riders despite being faced with an opposing rider as great as MM who is still so young.

Big congrats to Marquez but I also have to say great job for Mike Jones as well.

Thrown in at the deepend and still bought it home.

May have been last of those left running, but he still finished .

Good effort first time out in unfamiliar territory

4 no scoring races each for Rossi and Jorge. Marc has been the most consistent rider this season. When rossi and jorge ...... up, marc was on the podium. Thats how u win. Stay on the bike and dont crash.

Now that Marquez learned to control his aggression on the track, he'll be unstoppable IMO. There's a time to win, and a time to just control the race and score maximum points. He got it now. So watch out for him. Very well deserved championship.
