Go back and look at the winners of wet and mixed condition races the last 10 years. Its probably 90% the same guys who won the dry races the last 10 years After you do that, go have a drink, you have been a little testy lately.

He may just be hungry and need a snickers

Except we've had two satellite bikes win wet races. No satellite bike won a race wet or dry for a decade.

There was no unified software for the past decade, there is this year. You can't reasonably compare 2016 to the 2006 thru 2015 period because at one point, there was a tire war, and then teams were running custom software for their bikes.

Like I said, it's a retarded statement especially when you factor in there are guys (ROSSI & LORENZO) who desperately need points to try and close the gap to MM. You make it sound like they are just cruising around, which isn't the case. One crashed out of the lead at Assen. You think the only guys trying are those with nothing to lose...not even remotely close to the ....... truth. MM has the luxury right now of not going all out by nature of his standing in the championship because he just needs to bag points.

What part of this statement to you seem to have a problem with
" If every race was wet, you would see the same riders at the front as you do in the dry"

Facts tend to .... up your head.

Well well well, A win at Brno and now pole in Silverstone. You Cal haters must be well....hating!

Damn good ride by Laverty too, shame he lost it on his 'Pole' lap. That makes him the highest Ducati on the grid too, of course Povol still thinks he is undeserving of a GP ride ;)

He's just not playing the game is he?,he even sounded almost humble in the press conference,we can only hope that normal service will be resumed as soon as possible,I felt gutted for Laverty there myself.

This is what we call a hypothetical scenario.

It's also unprovable. Therefore it means not a thing.

Again, using the past 10 years as "proof" is not even reasonable given the circumstances of 2016, and how a significant variable change in the way of unified software has completely taken away the team's ability to write custom software.

You've made the implied claim that the only reason for seeing satellite bikes at the front is because those riders have "nothing to lose" versus the factory riders. Arrab once stated that if all riders on the grid were given equal bikes, who would be at the front would probably shock most people, and I do agree with him on this. Especially now that the ECU helped close up the field a bit, the satellite bikes have their best opportunity to compete (unless they are fielding certain lesser talented riders) on a level playing field in low grip conditions since there's no custom programming the factory bikes can simply turn to. Mind you the factory teams still have an advantage with the overall number of techs, but the rain long has had an ability to give the very talented a chance to shine whether it is motorcycle or car racing. It has nothing to do with nothing to lose, and more to do with it being one of the very few opportunities a rider has to show off his respective talent. It's precisely why your thoughts on Scott Redding are misguided. You may not like him personally, but he's a far better rider than you ever have been willing to give him credit for. At any rate, a couple of the factory riders are in desperate need of points, and as I already stated, they don't have the luxury to ride for position in the wet like MM.

Rain and riders with nothing to lose go hand and hand. If every race was wet, you would see the same riders at the front as you do in the dry

Firstly, that still has nothing to do with, nor does it take away the talent those rain riders have used to win races and poles (in this case Miller and Crutchlow).

Secondly. Of course that would be the case, because they have the best machines. Rain is often called "the equalizer" for the very reason it puts the riders on a more level playing field, and you are fooling yourself if you think the best bikes in the dry are still not the best bikes in the wet.
Laverty has gone well in the wet on a GP14.2, with regular high points finishes and qualifying, yet in the dry he's nowhere near the top ten. Lorenzo, on the other hand, has the best bike and is nowhere in the wet despite being a 5 times world champion, so give credit where credit is due.

Awesome vinales not a bad race... lorenzo is a ...... and errrr im sure i seen marquez put an elbow into chavlow?

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

He was pushing and it was all clean, there was no contact.

He's made less contact with other riders in the last 10 months than Rossi has. Think about than one braniac.

Go cry somewhere else JPS. Sitting there looking for someone to post something you can pretend to be outraged about. I said Murder Mac was back because he didn't give a ... about just collecting points... he was taking more risks. He ran off track twice!

Type up another 2,000 dissertation about tire conspiracies.
