Good win for Suzuki and Vinales. He rode a good race, and took advantage of what he was given out there which is all you can do.

Iannone is still a ....-up as usual.

Marquez should have settled for P3 instead of trying to make that overtake attempt at Stowe. Still very nice riding by him as he has played in conservative. Unfortunately he let Rossi close the points gap by 3 points. Holding that bike over the bumps coming out of Copse was incredible.

Pedrosa finally had a good ride which was nice to see.

Crutchlow managed to finish in P2 and not crash? I'm starting to wonder if he found the topic here and decided to use it as motivation.

Go cry somewhere else JPS. Sitting there looking for someone to post something you can pretend to be outraged about. I said Murder Mac was back because he didn't give a ... about just collecting points... he was taking more risks. He ran off track twice!

Type up another 2,000 dissertation about tire conspiracies.

LOL

You apparently know he didn't give a .... about collecting points just like you know Lorenzo doesn't try in the rain? Same dumb .... out of your mouth as usual Vudu.

Great for Maverick.

Poor race management from Marquez, he was looking clearly fastest or the group since Iannone crashed, all to lose points to Rossi at the end.

Didn't think I'd see Rossi gain points on Lorenzo and Marquez in a dry Silverstone.

Great to see a Suzuki at the top of the podium again. Also, amazing performance by Cal - top Honda!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

He was pushing and it was all clean, there was no contact.

He's made less contact with other riders in the last 10 months than Rossi has. Think about than one braniac.

It was clean? of course you are totally impartially and objective correct?

GTFO of this forum sick ........

You must live one hell of a sad life. Looking to start arguments on this forum is all you have to live for. If this site goes down, you're done.

Oh, have to go ad hominem as usual Vudu when you don't want to debate?

Don't be mad bro.

So RD gave 1 second penalty for exceeding track limits further down but no penalty for MM going off track twice? Great to see Suzuki win for first time in 15 years in a dry race, Vinale's had brilliant pace and used it well. Cal proving so many people wrong, he totally deserves his place.

Penalty was to lose one position. In both the cases, MM was overtaken and then got the position back. So, all are fine. However, you will never know what RD would pull out of their hat.

Marquez actually didn't lose a position, he went out just behind Rossi and entered the track also right behind him. That's the problem with tarmac runoffs though, you can cut chicanes like that and there is no penalty.

Reminds me of Catalunya 2014, although there Marquez did lose a half a second or so.

Wow! You boppers would sure penalise him ..... even if he didnt re-enter the race in the correct manner.

New bopper rules/gripes ....

Marquez turned up ....
Marquez tried to qualify ......
Marquez started the race ....
Marquez competed ....
Marquez is still miles in front in the point standings ....

You forgot to add, if he races hard they have to complain about that now too.

Then they have enough to complain about today. He was really trying for at least second. I thought Cal's bike actually looked better than Marc's bike. How weird is that? I remember a few times the Tech 3 Yamahas looked sharper than the factory bikes, but it is rare. The new rules era is changing everything.

I hope someone can explain how Vinales got away so decisively.

Apparently some people in the forum have been watching Formula 1 instead of MotoGP all these years if they believe that Marc is the first aggressive rider in the history of MotoGP.

He's doing what others have been doing before him, period.

Also I'm ready tired of every post-race becoming a parade of personal attacks above actual discussion.

I'm a Rossi fan and really enjoyed the race (and no, not just because he beat Marquez).

I'm neutral with Marquez, don't hate him don't like him. But what puzzles me is people complaining that he rides too safe and is just conserving championship points yet today when he did fight with Rossi despite not needing too championship wise people (not directing to anyone here) complain about that too. Poor guy can't catch a break

Im going to go out on a limb here and predict that next year Marquez will pale into insignificance ....... even if he is winning ......

next year Vinales will be the new pet hate of the boppers.
