Going to be an interesting qualifying that's for sure!

As for Brno, if it was due to the track drying and not defective tyres. Michelins failure to foresee that it could happen when the majority of the grid chose the softer option means they didn't expect it to happen, or expected it to happen and didn't tell any rider.

Explosive end to Q1.

Pedrosa was flying on that final lap...thought he lost time under braking on that lap when the front slide out entering one of the corners, but he pulled it out of his .... He was down on that 1st sector as well which made it even more impressive.

Rossi put in a solid lap as well. Well done for him to find that time in every sector to bump Dovi.

Great q1 session, now to see if CE was right and the two from q1 having more track time may have an advantage in q2.

Marc Marquez with his first pole of 2017. Put in a great lap.

Karel Abraham...don't even know what to think about him putting it on the front row. I hope AJV has survived watching this qualifying lol.

Tomorrow's race is going to be pretty fun I think...we'll see if MM can put the Honda across the line first or not. I suspect a battle is going to emerge between he and Vinales tomorrow.

Karel Abraham!!!! What an a excellent lap, I'll be cheering for him to have a top 10 finish tomorrow. I think some have been a bit harsh on the guy truthfully but I hope he can continue to prove people wrong.

Awesome lap from Marquez, no one came close during fp4 or qualy. Dry race tomorrow so it all means squat in the end. A good start(which would be an anamoly) could have him sitting pretty for the race if Vinaeles has another shocker.

Fantastic performance by Abraham. He did have a bit of reference from Baz who was being towed by Marquez, but he wasn't very close (at least 4 or 5 bike lengths between them).

Maybe Abraham should be on a GP17 eh?

Alex Marquez just set the fastest time on slicks... and its just started raining.

Two poles for the Marquez family?

Also turning up the crowd sound whenever Rossi is on picture is getting old as ..... And it's been old as .... for the past couple of years.

Argentinan fans cheered when Marquez crashed in FP1, the Valeban still out in full force.

I don't know who you are and you don't know who I am so you're making yet another assumption about how much experience I have. There are plenty of CCS and WERA racers that don't know ..... None of your CCS or WERA experience taught you a damn thing about MotoGP tires. You're not talking from a viewpoint of experience, you're pulling assumptions out of your .... You would've been better off claiming you know what you're talking about because you slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Clearly - you must have graduated summa cum laude from the Dunning-Krueger school of critical thinking.

You have yet to address (as is your wont) the fallacious inference that Goubert's experience precludes the possibility of his mendacity.

I assume nothing. I deduce your utter lack of real world comprehension from the way you dodge questions, the inescapable answers to which, completely undermine the stream of nonsense constantly escaping your word hole.

Your weening overconfidence is the classic emblem of those lacking knowledge. I suppose the vapid fog of no-nothingness in which you cloak yourself allows you the comforting illusion of awesome invincibility. But for those who are woke; well... they see it as being to your detriment, because in holding so firm to your baseless convictions, you damn yourself to a life of ignorance.

Speaking of fantastic, I see the fantastic faux have been busy ruining another thread with their, I hate Rossi rhetoric.
Notice how their narrow minded view of GP never loses focus. They will attribute anything they perceive as negative on Rossi.
I can only imagine their outcry, if Rossi retired, spent a full season developing and testing a factory bike that is slower than a 2 year old bike.
That would be a big story for the faux.
Howcome all I hear is crickets?

Well done Karel. But he won't be anywhere in the race tomorrow.

Cal on Marcs save 'what I don't understand is everybody else would be in the hospital with two broken collar bones and hip, he somehow stays on the bike'

I didn't watch the full presser but the new tyres are talked about. From the parts I saw Marquez and others weren't complaint about the carcass but about the rubber being too soft on the front. He does say that he is happy with a stiffer carcass if that's what they bring in because it does suit his style and heavy braking.
