I can't stand listening to Keith Huewen, the man might be a North West 200 winner but when you listen to him you'd think he'd never raced a bike in his life I'd rather have Stavros in with Julian.

I have exactly the same feelings about Parrish. Just hand the mic back to Moody. For some reason ex-bike racers rarely make good commentators, bar Mackenzie and Sheene.

Marquez did try a block pass at Assen, the problem is that he failed to do so because he was too far back and had to carry way too much speed into the apex. Whether or not he would've made the corner had Rossi let him go is debatable. I personally think not and he would've gone to the astroturf at least like he did in reality. Rossi OTOH had absolutely no chance to make the corner after they met in the apex especially after they made contact; I personally find the actualised end result preferable to the one where the leader lowsides out of the race because the guy behind makes a hopeless attempt at an overtake, much fairer.

Not sure either why the other riders' resistance against Rossi at Valencia is such an important topic considering he was going to finish 4th eventually because of his pace and it wouldn't have mattered if he was 4th, 5th or 6th anyway considering the points situation.

Was away over weekend, just now catching up.

Why is Crutchlow trying to disrupt Marc's championship? Why is he racing the championship leader? Didn't he learn from last year? Didn’t he side with Rossi's take to respect the championship leader? Where are all the rider's that sided with Rossi? Surely they don't have a double standard. Is Edwards commentating somewhere? Did he say Crutchlow was being a disrespectful ....? What about one of the Laverys, or was it the Lowes, .... I can't keep my twins straight. I know one of them was pissed that Rossi was raced hard, disrupting 'his' title. Crutchlow has no respect for unwritten rules...this year.

Entertaining race. Congrats to Viñalez. What craziness has Michelin cooked up that their constant tire manipulation has made cold races similar to wet races in the sense that fortunes are unpredictable, throwing up oddities, whilst always keeping Rossi near the front, rain or ...., cold or hot.

The common denominator is the tires directly linked to the 'gamble' of tire "choice". Use the hard or take the 'gamble'.

First of all, thank god Baz and Pol lived. Who designs Ses on tracks not considering what can predictably happen? Wet grass scrubs as much speed as a slip and slide.

The big talking point, Marquez. It appeared as if he was his old self, but not really. It was a consequence of these ....... tires that come and go throughout the race distance. At the point he passed Rossi and Crutchlow, Marc simply had the better pace, neither of his competitors ceded the position lightly, this is Marc's fault? Why isn't the question, Rossi was up to his old tricks, interrupting the faster pace of Marc?

The commentators were on special form. Marc came away with a bloody nose from the battle? Umh...okay. Let me get this straight, Marc tip toes around Rossi so as not to spark the ire of paranoia, Rossi being a racer understandably fights back, Marc turns up the intensity, gets past, leaves Rossi for dead. Makes a slight contact on Crutchlow who was making himself as wide as a Mack truck, the conclusion is Rossi got the best of Marc? I wish I lived in this fantasy universe.

I can't defend Iannone anymore. When he made the double pass I knew it was over. I had no doubt he would crash.

Also, can someone tell me why Silverstone changed their curbing paint from red to black? It looked interesting, but I like the red/white better.

When a rider such as Lorenzo is riding around at the back of the grid with no mechanical problems, I don't see why questioning his effort is a problem.
Well, to be fair Rossi did this for 2 whole years. I'm sure you, a man of no double standards, was constantly questioning Rossi’s integrity.

You mean when he was rammed into by Marquez at the chicane? Don't you have some pubic hair to sweep up after? Keep reaching, I'd be more worry about the decline of rider in your avatar not Vale who's still battling at 37. MM didn't gain a position but emerged with a ridiculous amount more speed and momentum going off the track.
Hahaha, this is hilarious. Poor Pussybozzo is butt hurt Rossi got bitchslap by Marc and needs to take his frustration out on Lorenzo fans.

Btw, it's nice to know you lurk in the Lounge. Come out of the closet and participate since you're already getting your rocks off.

Awesome post Shovel!
Agree totally
Would love to hear your take on the Zarco move, wassap it if you have time.
Cheers BTW, it's beautiful ;)
You must have had a blast buddy. I gotta make a return to Shiverstone someday. Maybe next year i can get one of those passes you were trying to get rid of. I still have the ringing in my ear from you yelling at the top of your lungs, "COME ON CAL!!!! Haha, I admit he's not my favorite Brit, as you know my man is Redding, who had an atrocious home GP. God it was sad. But kudos to Cal for racing like his life depended on it, and against a tough adversary. He won this battle. So congrats to him, and you, 22, Arrabi, and all his fans. (Btw What you think of the black and white curbing, seemed weird to me. Maybe it's my OCD).

I saw the Moto2 race just yesterday, can someone explain why Zarco got a penalty? I get the part why the move was bad, going on the curbing and all, but .... these guys make minor mistakes with consequences all the time, why was this singled out? Zarco isn't a repeat offender. Think of mistakes at the start of a race when mistakes are made for example, seemed like a run of the mill racing incident. We could make a case either Baz or Pol caused their accident if this is the standard. Btw, why are you asking Shove to post a racing opinion on whatApp? I want to read his opinion too brother, dude has some great insider info. Is there some secret WhatsApp group or something? Can I join? Or at least cut and paste Shov's extended WhatsApp take on the forum so I can read it.

Nothing to see here. Move along.
The reactions are hilarious brother. Part of my race take was tongue and cheek. We've got to a perverted point where regular normal racing is tantamount to federal indictment. All hard racing against Rossi is suspect, all hard racing by Rossi is...racing. How did we get here man?

That being said. Should MM be banned for life of just have to start the next race from the back? Or just 3 points?

I think we should waterboard Marc. Until he agrees never to pass Rossi again. But if only Race Direction had the balls, right?

The problem with your thinking, along with the rest of the boppers for that matter, is if it were a kick, Rossi would have been the first one screaming about it after the race. It would have been the ammunition to make his Phillip Island Fairytale come true for the entire world.

Did you watch the video? What does it look like to you?

I went and rewatched the point on the race the .GIF comes from, and all it looked like was his foot slipped off of the peg.

Like I said, if it had truly been a kick, Rossi would have said something along with everyone else...kind of like how when Rossi punted MM at Sepang, everyone knew.

Hahahhhahhhahhhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahha.
Oh boy. After the tens of thousands of words about how nothing has ever been more clear that Rossi kicked Marc at sepang you respond with "it looked like his foot slipped off the peg." I love it.

Btw. Look at Marc's knee puck. It rises before Rossi's bike stands up. Then you see his foot go back on the peg.
