no, but not even trying to catch up again to lorenzo but battling the .... out of rossi, with intentionally risking one or both of them flying off into the dirt, is dirty sportmanship as well.

no one would have a problem with this kind racing if it would have happened between lorenzo and rossi. they had similar speeds and it would have been expected.

BUT, marquez went all in on only one of two guys that had a chance on the title, without himself having anything to lose...and that is the dirty part about it. if he would have fought for some turns, tried some counters, but than - realizing he could only beat rossi when going full berzerk mode - he should have tried to keep up with him, and at the end (last 5 laps), if he still would have been in striking range, he could again have tried to attack.

i think in every racing series there is a thing called "Gentleman Agreement"...marquez definitely didn´t stick to it today. he interfered in a way that made it look like he tries to hinder one guy...

and again, looking only at that single incident, yes, rossi should have been disqualified, but looking at the whole picture...rossi is guilty of "the foul", but marquez played a very dirty game, literally forcing a reaction. rossi was, sadly, emotional (or "stupid") enough to fall for it...

Instead, watch PI and Aragon again. I agree 100%. I have a lot of respect for him after watching his post race interview. I will be rooting for him in Valencia.

even human with lower iq than 85 would know anything bad they say about the race directors or rossi at this point(specially if they are championship contender) , would come in rossi's defense in the court.

I go both ways on this.

Probably better, and certainly more dignified, for Jorge to say nothing.

However the result for Jorge is that the championship is now not in his control, particularly if the penalty is reduced or Jarvis does something (presumably that was a joke, he would basically be countermanding a decision by the stewards), but even if the penalty stands, just beating Valentino in the last race will not be sufficient, not least because MM might beat him and reduce the points he gains on Valentino.

If Valentino is allowed to suppose he could have caught Jorge as many have argued, surely Jorge is allowed to suppose that he would have stayed in front of Valentino and MM could have beaten VR as well, particularly when the reason for the championship not being down to Jorge's own endeavours/beating Valentino in the last 2 races possibly being insufficient in itself is that MM beat him at PI (with no complaints of MM interfering in the championship from Jorge, btw), so I can see a case for him being peeved about it being argued that VR was justified because it wasn't kosher for MM to beat VR in this race.

Agree, that's why this incident should be judged by only the evidence. Rossi ran Marc off. Fact. Rossi ran Marc off by his own admission, fact. Disqualification required.

The problem is this incident has been judged on mind reading by the fans, even by Race Direction.
