gentlemen,
if the presser is available for free online i'd highly appreciate it if anyone shared
really want to see jorges reaction after walking off the podium

thanks bros

Jorge just explained. He said he was tired and claimed it had nothing to do with the events between VR and MM. (I don't believe it).

Wow, very interesting press event so far. Rossi has fewer friends on the grid than maybe some though he did. These two aren't holding back. Even Diplomatic Dani has been very honest with his takes on Rossi this weekend and in the past. I guess there is no heir to the Rossi legacy.

I suppose the Yellow Army will have to become big Man U fans when Rossi retires. Only genuine motorcycle race fans will remain....how ...... will that be?

He says it was because he was dizzy, and had to get a drink.

of course not^^
but still, what did dani and jorge have to say about the incident?
we all know they've all seen it. just very interested in the dildo gags they might have to wear

Rossi can appeal the penalty.

My guess is that he does within the next few days and he will get it reduced so avoids being sent to the back of the grid.

Well, well, that was a lively one. Rossi stirred the .... pot, and Marquez took the bait. Poor show by both riders, Marquez practically stopped to let Jorge pass, then he and Rossi goaded each other like a pair of kids. Rossi crossed the line with the knee, no argument there, but, Marquez looked capable of ....... off and playing with the grown UPS, rather than get tangled up with Rossi, who couldn't.

It was a shifty and childish act by someone who should know better, and like most, I've lost respect for Rossi here, he's been looking a .... since Thursday, not a good look.

Lets not paint Marquez as the innocent victim here entirely, he was riding like an arse too today, and he's hardly averse to using his bike as a battering ram is he? Don't suppose this is the right time to bring up Stoners incidents of punching and kicking riders in qualifying is it?

Today Rossi was a ...., Marquez was a .... too for getting involved. As Hodgson said, Pedrosa and Lorenzo should keep a dignified quiet. They did the right thing and let the riding talk for them.

Pedrosa: Incident not good for anyone. You can see Rossi's leg move and Marc fall #MotoGP

Crash.net MotoGP ‏@crash_motogp 14m14 minutes ago

Lorenzo: Not a good decision from RD because Rossi took out Marc. Maybe it's his name. It was unbelievable #MotoGP

Lorenzo: Valentino should have zero points. Other riders get punished more. Rossi's name is very important to this championship. It's unfair

Lorenzo: Rossi unbelievable as a rider, but as a sportsman many people will change their view of him now #MotoGP

Pedrosa: Rossi should be here to speak to media and explain. He has so many fans. #MotoGP

As a Rossi supporter (not a Rossi bopper):

1) I think the race direction's decision is fair. We can discuss about it, but it's fair. I hope the Yamaha's appeal won't make any difference.

2) I even hope, in a slightly masochistic way, that JL wins the championship, instead of spending the rest of his life accusing Valentino.

But I also add:
3) Marquez prooved Valentino right. And this says a lot about both him and JL.

1) decision is not fair he reached his third place by cheating.
2) I hope the same but Valentino doesn't deserve this championship anymore.
3) Marquez proved nothing he has been saying all weekend that he was having front end problems Lorenzo overtook him smoothly. Rossi didn't and also made an enemy of Marquez so he was always going to right tooth and nail to beat Rossi. Neither of them had the pace of the first two guys anyway.

I want Marquez to get pole at Valencia, then wobble along in first gear until Rossi catches him and engage him in a battle again. The title fight may not eventuate between Rossi & Lorenzo, but the .... measuring contest is just warming up. And it will be epic.

Rossi's fans are probably praying for MM to die now.

Not pissing here but in some forums you aren't far wrong.

In one that is generally 50/50, the real colours have been displayed and that colour is YELLOW

A number of posters are (kid you not) calling for life time bans for Marquez for race fixing, whilst others are calling for lengthy suspension for MM with more wishing that he never shows his face again 'or else'

And as said, I kid not.

Now, slightly off topic and a bit baiting here but here goes ..........

A few years ago there was a rider who loved to take off on fast laps and at times behaved in a manner that was not ideal with slower riders. In fact, he was accused of 'wanting the track all to himself' and was often ridiculed beyond what many would say 'deserved'.

Are we not seeing the same now?

Has Rossi effectively not said 'the track is for me and JL only, everyone else MUST get out of my way when I come through' (MUST being the operative word.

I do wonder what the takes of some of the Yellow masses will be if this costs Rossi the title

first ........ to make this into another stoner vs rossi thread gets hits nuts punched by my little cousin

Where was Marquez riding like a ....? Because he didn't concede to Rossi straight away?

This can never be deemed a racing incident, this was an absolute deliberate and malicious intentional crashing out of Marc Marquez. In all the time ive watched including historical footage of this sport, this was by far the most blatantly intentional and egregious act of violence.

Stoner punched a rider and got a $5000 fine for his trouble (got off to lightly as I said at the time) but he did not kick a rider. He may have 'kicked out' but he did not contact a rider with the kick so nothing happened.

Either way, Stoner did not seemingly use his bike as a battering ram and nor did he pre-empt it by using the media throughout the week to seemingly build a case for the action.

As for the penalty, I am seriously stumped but as someone who suggested that CS get a far greater penalty for the RdP incident, I likewise feel that VR needs to be treated extremely harshly in penalty terms (this was NOT a racing incident and as such, need to be adjudged appropriately)

But defintely agree ............. welcome back Pete :)
