As Marquez said, all Valentino needs to do is beat Jorge.

If his points position is such that other riders who are racing him for race position can effect his championship, tough, his problem not theirs, just as it is Jorge's problem and nobody else's that he is behind in the championship because Valentino was better than him in the wet races.

Have you considered the possibility that MM and Rossi had pretty much the same pace in this race? Dani was obviously having one of his untouchable weekends, and Jorge may have had faster race pace than both of them as well.

so bt sports are advocating that if barbera did this move he should be penalized harshly to respect the other riders on track but with rossi consideration MUST BE GIVEN to his status and the championship.

It doesn't matter if Marquez hates Rossi more than Lorenzo, it doesn't condone the blatant cheating Rossi did today. Marquez was not sandbagging imo, you could see he was sliding a lot.

You may be right. I'll watch some more.
But it looked to me like Marc wasn't just sandbagging but intentionally slowing to let Rossi pass so he could put another hard move on him. Instead of putting there heads down and catching the leaders. Like vale appeared to be begging Him to do.

Plus. Being the goat doesn't necessarily mean you win every race. Or does it?

Yes. I considered it but then found it to not be probable.
I considered MM just rolled over for Jlo and ...... with VR and found that probable.
So yes. It was considered. Then dismissed.
