Except Valentino Rossi has been in the premier class for 15 years now, and in being a PROFESSIONAL should know how to deal with it. He doesn't have to like it, but to react is conduct unbecoming a professional.

This is the same guy who nearly torpedoed Stoner at Laguna 08 as 22 mentioned a few pages back, and then used the excuse of, "it's racing" when he saw Casey was pissed off. Basically it's another case of, the rules apply to everyone but Valentino.

Amazing that he's been doing this dirty riding BS for 15 years & race direction has done JACK. I don't condone racism, but I hope Spain in 2 week do to him what they did to Lewis Hamilton a few years ago.

Why the .... would Jorge even be in race direction? The race I watched, he was way ahead of both of them. Who will have the black eye and bloody nose in the press conference?

He was fun. I miss him a lot. A champ without a championship.

Absolutely! He turned the stereotypical "Japanese rider" stereotype on it's .... According to many, his off course exploits were every bit as legendary as on on course racing. I never forgave or cheered for Speez again after he bested Haga that year. Nitro Nori FTW!

He did change it to my man Haga though. An inch of latitude is now in order. That inch will evaporate with his very next post I predict. Until then, cease and desist.

Deal for the love of nitro I'll leave it be. II am still laughing that he said I didn't know his motives and then instantly changed it.

In case you are wondering moto vudu nitro is hagas nickname.

You can't kill the golden goose if you're Dorna.

They're reaping what they sowed...no other pro sport has ever been so wrapped up in one star as MotoGP has been with Valentino Rossi.

Thing with Valencia though, he'll have a huge contingent of his supporters there.

JLo Didn't slag off Marquez and his family in the Thursday press conference. Rossi goaded Marquez and he didn't expect him to be pissed and fight back?

That might account for this race but not Australia.
Seems like maybe Rossi had it right? Maybe he knows something we don't?
I did expect him to fight back. And when you're against the best rider in the world and he's willing to throw it in on you like that over and over and over. Just for ..... and giggles? Ya. Like Vale said. Valencia will be tougher.

This is only the second time I have ever wanted to watch a press conference. First was Estoril 2006. It's 4:30 AM and I am NOT going to sleep any time soon!

Marquez beat Jorge at PI. That shoots VR's theory full of gigantic holes.

I think Jorge is probably arguing for a race ban on VR or something.

Not that I blame him if that is the case, even though it is self-serving since it would in effect hand him the championship.

But the other thing is, you almost have to be concerned that a 4th clash between VR and MM in Valencia could potentially put other riders at risk. All 4 fortunately occurred when no one else was around, but a first lap torpedo would put a lot more guys at risk than just those two.

You're still going? The drama this season just hit its peak and we're still talking about avatars?? lol I only changed it hoping you'd focus on MM & Rossi, but I might as well change it back to Rossi's slide since it didn't work.

Been a Haga fan ever since he battled with Edwards @ Kyalami in 2000. One of my favorite races.

I loved Spies' title year! I think part of Haga's mystique is that he could be so captivating without a title.

Off topic: I think Spies is the most talented rider WSBK has ever seen. Anybody agree?

Rossi is supposed to be the Goat Steve, so it shouldn't matter.

It doesn't matter if Marquez hates Rossi more than Lorenzo, it doesn't condone the blatant cheating Rossi did today. Marquez was not sandbagging imo, you could see he was sliding a lot.

No press conference till race direction decides what to do.

I wonder if Carmelo is in there.

And we all know what happens when you spoil a child.

I don't think MM will get him back. He actually has a future beyond the next year or two. He can't risk alienating sponsors or Honda and Yamaha.

I think you hit on the biggest issue earlier in this thread: Rossi kicked someone off a motorcycle. This can't be allowed. The precedent must be set.

I do agree. I was just gutted for Haga. Speez beat him fair. Ben earned his ride and his Championship. He was fantastic that year but I wanted Nori to get the pay off for his years of beastliness.
