Rossi wasn't at fault. It was a boxing match on the track. Let's not forget years ago I think in 250s when leading bikes almost stopped because no one wanted to lead the race. No different. And Rossi didn't push marques off the track. No where near edge when he came off. Yes on the marbles but only going slow at that point. All media hype. Great racing until then tho.

No, I don't think MM holding up VR justifies Rossi's response... however I understand that it would've pushed Rossi over the edge and he snapped. Think if the situation was reversed and MM was almost neck and neck with J Lo for the championship and Rossi was purposely holding him up. What do you picture MM doing?

Except Valentino Rossi has been in the premier class for 15 years now, and in being a PROFESSIONAL should know how to deal with it. He doesn't have to like it, but to react is conduct unbecoming a professional.
This is the same guy who nearly torpedoed Stoner at Laguna 08 as 22 mentioned a few pages back, and then used the excuse of, "it's racing" when he saw Casey was pissed off. Basically it's another case of, the rules apply to everyone but Valentino.

If Rossi DOESN'T get any penalty, it opens up the door for Marquez to do the same to him in Valencia and get away scot free, no? So Rossi is in trouble either way.
