Loved that angry hand gesture from Lorenzo to Iannone while waiting to do practice starts, as if to say, .... off you cheeky monkey!
This being the track with the greatest degree of friction - tires will be more of a factor. Going to be a major challenge for Michelin to come up with a comparable selection for PI next year.
And re:MM - he's never finished a race in premier class at this track. Can he change that? As things stand, MM could hold Lorenzo up long enough for Rossi to get up to the pointy end. Will he pull a rabbit out of his hat - or will it be the donkey ears again? Weather looks superb if a bit windy.

Best part was how Iannone shrugged his shoulders like I don't give a .... when Lolo tried to puff his chest up. It looks like all Spaniards rag at the same time just like girls a powersliders do. Did you all see asparagus throw a fit?

MM has never scored points at PI in the premier.
If I'd been Iannone, I'd have given Lorenzo the 2 finger salute, really wind the prat up.
Maybe Iannone will slow Lorenzo down so that Rossi catches up LOL.

Iannone is second on the grid....either because dorna measures to 10s of thousands of second...or because I is before L in the alphabet....

Out of curiosity, did you actually 'laugh out loud' when you typed that last thought?
Maybe the six riders in front of Rossi will slow him down instead and when Lorenzo cuts across from wide into Doohan's he may stage a vanishing act.

I think it's according to where you are in the points standing. Or mayhaps because Lorenzo's Spanish?

Seems the most plausible scenario. Rossi's really going to have be balls out to prevent that from happening.

Hey Migs, your junkyard dog is off his leash inciting indirectly again.
First they compare fastest laps, then they compare 2nd fastest laps, then 3rd fastest laps, until they find one pair of laps where one rider was faster than the other. In this case, Iannone's 2nd fastest lap was faster than Lorenzo's 2nd fastest lap. So Iannone gets 2nd, Lorenzo 3rd.

MM, Iannone and Lorenzo all looking strong in the WUP. Pedrosa looks to be in the mix as well. WX looks like it will cooperate for a dry race. This will be a good one.
