MotoGP: 2015 Round 16 - Pramac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (SPOILERS)

Turn 3? ...

Oh oh, you mean Stoner Corner.

Yes, MotoGP however still calls it turn 3.

I do it out of habit, they have no excuse.

Must be because they don't want to upset VR as he chases the championship with any mention of that name.

Hey JPS do you want to know what I call that corner?

I call it auschwitz because Casey used to kill it over and over again.

Too soon bro.

I forgot what that internet thing is that we are always a few steps away from invoking Hitler, but Casey Stoner is that equivalent.

Even Boners are in the Lifestyle thread.

MotoGP's Facebook account posted a video of the riders sliding through turn 3.

NONE come close to what Stoner was doing through that turn.

It's sad to watch how little sliding these guys do now.

Isn't that the one he used to keep binning it at?

Turn 3? Not a nice place to bin it. Kinda rare to do so, though.
Wtf is with Dorna running SBK and GP on the same weekend?

Dubs, may I just add a little for you 'call it auschwitz because Casey used to get on the gas and kill it over and over again'

Extreme bad taste, I know.

I just watched FP3 and I'm slightly nervous about Rossi being in 7th. Anyone think he's got some magic in the tank he's yet to reveal?

And a few pics found around the trap.

Rossi does seem to like the track leading to the Hayshed

Those double winglets on the Ducati look ridiculous.
If the wind comes up, surely they'll need to ditch them. Wonder what that will then do to set-up?

I think Miller answered that question in the video a page or two back .......... :D

He'll be fine. The conditions change quite a bit between the am and pm sessions. Rossi has been average at best most weekends until Sunday. No reason to expect anything different here. Frankly, Rossi generally looks fairly pedestrian most of the time until about the 1/2 point in the races. Rossi will deliver this weekend. The only real question is which RCV gets in the mix and how that effects the outcome. Otherwise I expect Rossi and Lorenzo to be at the very front.

I have an odd feeling the championship will get settled this weekend. Can't explain why but I think one of the Yam's will have a poor result. You heard it here first. PI is an odd place. The WX changes quickly, the track is difficult, and lots of guys are running well. Mistakes will be made...

Rossi will qualify second behind Marquez.

No actually, not even close. Lorenzo gave that second position to Iannone. Lots of riders were looking for and getting tows in that session. Iannone didn't even hide his intent to use JL.

Like I said earlier, there will be a few guys running up front early on who can and probably will make the first few laps exciting. I also still think Rossi will be fine in the race provided he can stay clear of the early front runners.
