I would say those others like yourself displayed those symptoms yesterday......
Lets wait and see, and I just got out of Bed!! I think JL is in the same boat, hes also lost 0.6 to the leaders! The past two champs are off the pace considerably today. But as Jum says what a difference a Dayr or three makes. Aoyama is a big surprise, Honda's silky smooth Box is hammering the field again, but I think Ben will be right up there this weekend and in prime position to beat his teammate. And Randy certainly found something.
Just another reminder though, no points were awarded today........
Yet when the riders for Roberts 250 team in 84 came in and complained about their equipment, Roberts suited up and in 3 laps BEAT there times by a second.....
Rossi is done! He should have taken his father's advice and retired last year, or as a famous man once said, "I guess the burden was too much to bare".
Rossi is Ringo, Stoner is Holiday

agree
maybe they are for now waiting for rossi to ride it the way stoner did and maybe only then the screamer could be relevant
I'm no engine expert but i know big bangs tend to use more fuel, my assumption is that given the fuel limit and electronics , the screamer would always be better
(except for the inline 4 yamaha but thats a whole different story i guess)
RdP at 5th - I've a feeling we won't be able to judge a thing from these tests until the first race. Rossi must be seriously looking for consistency in the high 1:56'es and trying to acclimatise as much as he can (this is my wishful thinking and I could be wrong). Only the race will tell. Also, remember Rossi took a few races to get to terms with the Bridgestones. I guess Stoner and Pedrosa and to some degree RdP are the only ones "innately" capable of miraculous lap times on new machinery.
almost seems like the ducati has already reached its ultimate potential and it can't really be improved any further
maybe they should go back to the screamer to get at least a couple of hp back...even if that means losing a couple of tenths in the corners that would reinstate the myth that they have the best motogp bike
Oh ye of little faith. Just another 80 seconds if you don't mind.
Don't worry. In 2011 the faithful are to be allowed a bit of slack in that regard. Keep your head up high.
Exactly what Krop said 1 week ago.........................Ducati are ......!
Check Kropos latest on Yamaha's response to Honda's new box. Furusawa is trying to find a similar solution as the Honda is leagues ahead coming off the turns, low range acceleration and gear changes at full lean.
I would suggest that most are very lucky to be within a second of this beast......
Verdict
the Donald Duc Toys aint gonna do .... all year
it will be who comes 1st in the Duc mini cup for sure
I'll be turning the TV Over after the moto2 race
wonder what Ro$$i has to $ay
Well he's technically behind Simo & Dovi, but not by alot, which makes me think he will either be rewarded or held back ala Barros.

furusawa himself said it wouldn't be that big of an advantage
i suspect it is certainly worth a couple of tenths for now but its getting hillarious how you try to make everybody believe that its once again only supreme machinery that enables other riders than rossi to run at the front.
and don't even think of arguing with that , you make it seem like rossi is only a good clutch away from blowing everyone to the weeds
"We're not as far back as it looks, although we still have a lot of work to do... the shoulder is evidently not yet able to bear two such intense days of testing" – Valentino Rossi.
Not that I take you to be mean-spirited.... but I have to say, I feel no glee
at the prospect of another year of Ducati back-markers. As much as I'd
like to see Rossi in the mix - I'd like to see all the other talented riders
have a chance to make a showing - instead of just dispiritedly cruising
around as watching their best years and their careers go down the toilet.
If Hayden can't get a ride with someone other than Duc next year - he
should get his ... over to WSBK - while there's still some time to kick ....
