Well yeah, but you'd think it has never happened, since Tom was so "surprised"...uhm--or was it so "smug"? (ah ...., i confuse the two).

Tom would be surprised to learn that Schwantz is a former 500 champion though.

Hahaha.

I doubt Kawasaki will be back anytime soon.

BTW, I read this from Stoner:

I'm wondering, what the hell was wrong with it that he could "fix it" while still riding? Was it a setting issue?
Hayate is Japanese for Transvistite Motorcycle
Its still a Kawai even if it does not say so on the bike.

I find it odd that none of the Stoner lovers gave him props for once again
climbing off the side of the bike while riding at 200 mph, whipping out his tool kit,
crawling under the bike, finding the correct ratchet and socket. busting out the can of
WD40, relubeing the nut and setting it back on with some loctite then going on
to finish the race.

Does the Ducati even have a steering damper or did Stoner just have to reach down
and reboot the sony Viao that powers the thing to correct the problem?

as opposed to nicky being slowed down by some scratch paint on his fairings?? hahahah 0.00000001 exatra wind resistance = 2 seconds slower per lap for hayden

Sounds like it'd be delicious, provided it doesn't fall off the plate half the time

Beating A. Pedrosa's teamate B. A fellow Spaniard. C Wanting to brighten
his prospects for a contract renewal with Reptile Honda - would, I reckon,
motivate the hell out of Dani. That last lap pass looked ballsy - but also
- I would say, there was a whiff of desperation there, what with the way Lorenzo
was running away with the race.

Kallio and nicky blame each other

What a bunch of primadonna ......... If you hit a guy when coming from behind - it's your fault. Kalio mis-calculated, and hit a wet patch. Tough ...... When the track is drying out - the line is constantly changing and things get unpredictable. Kalio should be a man and apologize to Hayden.

Someone should start keeping a log of rookies who have taken Hayden out in a race.
Pedrosa
Someone at Laguna
Takahashi
Kallio

Christ, these guys should start a club.

Geez, no ..... I had read this on crash, but it looks like motogp.com found a way to spice it up. Why do they insist on making enemies of otherwise cool riders?

But I will add, when passing, the overtaking rider is responsible to make the pass, period.

Looks like Kallio's team guy is the ........ Calls him a slower rider. .... him. If Kallio wasn't playing cannonball maybe he could of kept HIMSELF upright. It is not the job of the guy in front to worry about the rider behind unless he is being lapped. SO that is ........ about the line and stuff caUSE iT IS Kallio's job to overtake without incident.

I agree, but many here did not see it that way when rossi supposedly "brakle checked" stoner at laguna last year.

Does anyone have footage of this incident?? I have only heard what happened, I would like to see it.
