<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (roger-m @ May 20 2009, 04:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I agree, but many here did not see it that way when rossi supposedly "brakle checked" stoner at laguna last year.
YEah that whole brake check thing, well I don't know maybe he did and maybe he didn't. If he did I really didn't see it or at least it wasn't a blatent visual telling thing. I could tell if he did of course but when your that close setting up for your line things could look one way and be another. Look what if it was the other way around? Stoner doing that to Vale. What if Vale crashed cause of Stoner? Now Casey would never live that down and people would be all over the poor kid. But reverse it and now what? Ah that was just a racing incident. There is a double standard when it comes to Vale. Like a how dare you pull that .... on Valentino. I think Stoner had respect for Vale but it wasn't the other way around. So that is why Stoner may have flown off the handle a bit cause he was just looking for a bit of respect during the race. He gave it to Vale but it was not recipricated at all. Decent race but I still wonder had Stoner done what Vale did, and Vale crashed. What the Rossi fanclan would have done and said would have been that double standard fleshed out.
