Watch the video again mike. The marshals approach from the right closest to rossi yet several go to help stoner. Your point is just sour grapes and complete bollocks !

if it is sour grapes to be annoyed that the bloke who caused the accident got to continue but the championship contending innocent bystander didn't, then I plead guilty. Doubtless grapes of similar bitterness to those that made me say that I didn't want to see stoner win this year's championship because of bautista taking out lorenzo at assen. Fortunately stoner was good enough to prevail last year anyway, hence the only sour grapes I needed to consume had been made into champagne, and it looks as though Jorge may well be this year as well.

But you all continue to blame THE WRONG PEOPLE !!

YES rossi ...... up stoners day

YES honda have a system that switches the bike off once it goes on its side.

YES the marshals TRIED in vain to get Stoner re-started, something we all know was not only impossible but the marshals risked their own lives TRYING.

Now to fire off at these people is wrong and just looks like a spoiled brat having a tantrum. Follow this with standing track side slow clapping then his over patriotic fans defending it just makes me think next year can't come soon enough.

No, I blame valentino rossi for this incident (and for this incident alone), not the marshalls, while you as you did at the time and have consistently done since have tried to make stoner's reaction to the incident the problem.



The other problem for you is that I actually remember most things rather well, rather than how I would like them to have happened or how I have decided they must have happened, and while more than capable of sophistry when people like you annoy me it doesn't actually make my memory dysfunction. I would suggest you watch the motogp.com video of the whole incident if you wish to have a go at me, rather than the selected footage on this thread which is from the other side of the track anyway, which I just did in case you did for once have a valid argument. My argument about stoner's bike being on top was sophistry, but my memory of what happened was not incorrect, and nor was stoner's. What in fact happened was that stoner picked his own bike up, moved it back and away from rossi on his own, all of the marshalls rushed to rossi then all concentrated on getting him going again, and stoner had to ask to get even a solitary marshall to assist him, after which others arrived from the other direction. I will concede that as stoner had managed to pick his own bike up their duty was first to make sure rossi was alright, although if he was in any danger from his still running bike he could have ceased letting it run, but they didn't all need to help him re-start.



Again, I agree and said on this thread before you did that they shouldn't be involved in push starting anyone.

Barry, you called me a ....... and claimed you weren't reading my posts - rather, deleting them instantly which is clearly not the case.
