2018 Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley

I ride what would be considered pretty aggressive and I can tell you for a fact that even Bridgestone street/ race tires like the RS10’s give much better warning than the Michelin’s before letting the front go. After running Michelin’s for decades, I tried the Bridgestones and never looked back. I have not bought Michelin’s in close to 8-9 years.

I like Pirelli's, but used either Dunlops or Bridgestones on track.

Pirro's injuries, as of now, seem to be:

Commotional head injury
Right shoulder dislocation (fixed in the medical center already).
Thoracic trauma
Lumbar trauma

Horrific crash. Let's hope he'll be alright

The last 2 give me cause for concern, I've only ever seen one bloke who had lumbar trauma and he was bleeding inside, caused by busted ribs.

Fingers X'd he's ok.

Which one is worse? The one that hates a behavior of a specific person for free online but does not boo at that person on a podium and neither cheers when the that person falls/gets hurt or the one that hates so much that they even pay to hate on booes riders on the podiums and cheers when they fall and possibly get hurt?

Holy run on sentence, Batman.
But yeah, the freeloading ..... that think they are owed something are worse. Especially certain ..... that wish death upon riders online but wouldn’t dare do that at a circuit.

Hey don't blame me, I'm not the one booing. Go back and read what I post. Most fans of other riders don't like MM too. Casey was rarely ever booed outside of Italy and maybe Spain. Casey never got boo in his home race.

Stoner did get boo'd by a section of the crowd at Phillip Island in 2007 ....... a small section who were easily identifiable on the main straight.

Much less in 2008 and nothing thereafter .......

Pirro is doing better than what it looked like on TV, according to Ducati.
Thank ..... I hope I will never have to see another on track casualty in my lifetime.

I would laugh my ....... ... off of Iannone outperforms Alex Rins and Joan Mir on an Aprilia held together with chewing gum and Italian duct tape.

I believe the "booers" moved their operations to a cruise ship off the south coast of NSW but didnt make it past Eden .... where they were ejected by the Stoner fans.

Marc gets booed whenever he's introduced on the podium. He was even boo in your country. Face the fact, he's a dirty rider with a long history of crashes into other riders and those say he have any personality are full of it. Sepang and Valencia 2015 where he refused to attempt a pass on Lorenzo was the ice on cake. It's a competition between Jorge and Marc to who has less fans and the least charisma. Doesn't matter how many titles he win, he has zero personality and the least fans. In fact, his only fans seem to be the couple dozen here who despise Rossi.

Before anybody says to me that a weekend warrior track day local racing enthusiasts like myself has no bearing on Moto GP technology, I accept; however I have had a very similar experience with Michelin vs. Bridgestone. If I could describe in short, B-stones are more forgiving to me. Another tire we run here as a rule are British-made Dunlop's. The American-made Dunlop's don't stand up to Southern California tarmac. I don't know why and I couldn't give you a real good technical answer but I think it has to do with the peculiar aggregates in the asphalt, weathering characteristics, and abrasion that we get here.

If you live in a glass house don't throw rocks.

Every set of Dunlop’s I’ve ever bought , the fronts cupped like a mother ....... With my size and riding style, heavy on the front, I’m rough on fronts and the Dunlop’s sucked ... for me.

Yea, those thousands of people wearing 93 apparel and waving 93 flags are plants from Honda. The term Rossi bopper has your picture beside it in the dictionary. Life must be unbearable for you the last 8-9 years.

""Another defective tyre, it happens too often. It feels as if on Fridays they bring tyres that have been used in other grands prix and they are not good. It confuses you and annoys you a bit."

Also, Dovi got a .... tire

Michelin has a history of bringing leftover tires from previous Grand Prix’s. Stoner said the tires he used to get in 06 could be months old.

That is one of the nastiest crashes I have seen in recent times, after Miller at Le Mans last year. Looks like the rear for unsettled on a bump, gripped again and massively high sided...
The theory appears to be that the front brake pads were knocked open on the bump, so when he went for the brake there wasn't any, then he grabs a fist full as he's going at mach 9 towards a wall and locks the front.

Properly scary, glad he seems to be doing ok.

Front locked up, kicked the rear in the air and pivoted sideways and when it came down sideways at 170 mph it was launch city.

Whatever happened to the "synn beating folk up at Mugello" senario?!!?

I was booing him for free on that one.

Threatening people with physical violence is okay, as long as nobody makes an abstract conjecture about a preference of one rider over the other (the "other" being Rossi).
That would be unforgivable.
