2018 Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley

Marquez just broke track record in FP3,hope he has the mistakes out of the way for race.

Even if he retires, these twats will remain. They'll always be here, waiting for MM to flop, in agony.

MM isn't going to flop mate,he can dominate for as long as he wants to, whereas Rossi will never win another title,as for these so called 'race fans' i disagree, they weren't around when i started going to races back in the 80's and i reckon they will disappear up their own arseholes when their leader gets tired of having his arse kicked by a young dude who is just laughing at him and his pathetic followers...

Just seen this elsewhere - it is not a verified comments but .................

MarcVDS will be Moto2 only next year, some team members have been notified. Luca Montiron is out and Emilio Alzamora is now running the team with the Moto2 team most likely being run by Alzamora for the Estrella Galicia structure (current Moto3 EG0.0 / MarcVDS team) for 2019

Good news is the Team Nieto (future Tear VR46 most likely) has been persuaded by Petronas money and Lorenzo's signature, to take the Yamahas. Morbildelli is 90% certain to be the 2nd rider with Lorenzo almost certainly on a full factory scoot

Back in the 80s there wasn't VR. As long as his nemesis is racing they'll continue as it is. Now imagine a young, capable, anointed by Rossi Italian rider comes in.

Well, so the FP results ended up being misleading heading to the QP. Rossi & Lorenzo in vintage mode. Marquez being his usual saving many crashes, having a lot of difficulties with the tires it seems. I'm not convinced by Maverick's 3rd, he's been lacking pace. Dunno what's happening with Dovi but I think he'll have good pace tomorrow. Iannone might score his first win with Suzuki, he's been the most consistent rider all weekend

JLo was doing his laps on Soft front and rears....they wont last the race....so i fully expect him to fade...

Rossi was on Medium and Soft....i think the medium was his rear tire....he is going to have to go with the on hard....and he seems to have been working race pace....so podium probably, but cant see a win for him...

Tony Elias syndrome. When the pressure is on at contract time a burst of outstanding performance. Too late tho.

Oh ....! How dare the 39 year old score a pole?
Doesn’t he know that he’s destroying the narrative?

What narrative?

I'll tell you some narrative. Zarco scores a pole and the tifosi come rapidly to downplay the fact, saying it's indicative of nothing (same thoughts applied to his overall performance over the season). Rossi scores a pole and he's the best ever again. Is that the narrative you talk about?

Unlike others, I commend Rossi for such impressive display today, just like I give props to other riders when they do well too. Maybe people in this forum wouldn't be so negative to Rossi without the likes of you, always itching to pick a fight and provoking first. I'll enjoy the race tomorrow whoever wins but I'm sure you can't say the same.

Must be SNS tires...or Dorna holding back riders by remote....or...must have got special engine....

Love how quiet this place is and everyone vanish whenever Vale does anything positive.

The main narrative that Rossi is ..../past it/can't really ride a bike anymore/taking up a valuable factory seat.

I'm sure someone will remind us all that he's Gay and a nasty man too before much longer...

Yeah, this.
The cockroaches are unsurprisingly, nowhere to be found!

Synn is a huge supporter of Zarco. A bit of a strawman argument.
