2018 Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley

False premise, Reefer Dogg. When did I defend my man when he ...... up? Who is 'my man' supposed to be? Or are you creating a strawman?
Maybe I have the wrong person but when any of the history between Rossi and other riders i brought up you along with others seem to see it for his side. If not, and you aren't a Rossi man, then I apologise.
I just didn't see the need to mention him and compare him with what happened today with MM and Petrucci. As far as I have seen, no complaints from the riders have been made, no complaints from teams and the commntators admitted they got it wrong. So why complain that no one is complaining and bring Rossi into it?? Rossi wasn't involved in anyway. Things like that give me the impression he's yer man.
And I made the point as it was in reply to someone's comment regarding race wins in the last 2 years between the 2. Yeah it's a silly point, but let's be honest I'm not the only one does that.
Yer wee pal keeps comparing 2 year old satellite Yams and factory Yams. You seem to like those silly points.

Also, maybe yer wee pals should stop comparing two year old satellite Yamahas when they do well.

You’re definitely not imagining this

https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/news/petrucci-marquez-penalty-mugello-clash-1044306/

Petrucci: “Márquez should have been penalized for the first lap clash”.

Well that's the first I have seen of that. From the aerial shot it looked like they had gone close but not touched. Maybe he should have been penalised. Maybe others further down should have as well as it was mentioned Zarco was bumped about.
Marquez is racing in the spotlight now, there is no doubt. Every little moment is going to be looked at more so than other riders

Not really as doing well on a 2 year old bike deserves credit. Beating a 2 year old bike on a current bike should be expected.

Zarco finished behind both factory bikes last year and he is behind them right now.

I am a huge Zarco fan in case you haven’t noticed, but like JPS said earlier, one race doesn’t make a season. Petrucci and Miller beat both factory Ducatis in Le Mans. Where are their accolades? Should Dovi vacate the seat since he has never won the big one in the big leagues?

The selective comprehension that some people show here is astounding (Not pointing my fingers at you).

Cheers - reasonable post.

Is this real life? Someone on this forum admitting they could be wrong? Kudos, mate.

In other news, all three podium finishers have basically said that the front tyres are... .....
The hell, Michelin? Do you make them out of leftover chewing gum found under French school desks?

Woaw Vinales completely out of line in his interview !!

Does he even have a proper excuse?
He said somewhere that inexplicably lost 1s in race pace from FP3 to Fp4 and warmup.
Too many excuses, he is damn quick, especially on worn tyres, but if you handicap yourself with this kind of starts, it won't get you any good. And he's getting beaten by Rossi, 3-1 podiums, 72-67 points. And Rossi had a no-score race not caused by himself.

Petrucci and Miller are both, quite rightly in my opinion, being talked about as replacements in the factory. Pretty decent recognition I'd say.
Miller got lots of plaudits for his performances on the Honda last year. More for calling Hodgson a ....... He deserved them on both counts.
Petrucci, if I'm not mistaken, is on this year's bike and should be close to the factory if he is wanting to prove himself worthy of a full factory seat.
And of course Dovi shouldn't vacate his seat. He was the only challenger to the title last year so deserves to stay but I'm sure you know that.
I'm also a fan of Zarco but I'm a fan of pretty much all the racers.
What I amn't a fan of is cheering crashed riders and the vitriolic ........ that has built up over the years.

Happy to admit if I get things wrong rather than continue arguing with folk that I am never likely to meet.
It's not like you're going to tell anyone that knows me.

I said it after qualifying and I will say it again.

There is so much mutual respect between Rossi and Lorenzo right now and it was blatantly obvious after the race and in the interview.

I think that’s Rossi appreciated Lorenzo for making the same leap of faith that he did and actually taming the beast while J.Lo finally understood what an uphill task Rossi faced after his move.

These two aren’t going to be BFFs, but I won’t be surprised if they carry on some sort of a friendship and admiration well after their careers are done.

Lin Jarvis must be feeling like a proud mom after her fighting sons made up. :D

Idiots that cheer crashes deserve a kick in the dink and I think I have been very clear about my stance on that.
