No he didn't or it wouldn't have been allowed. They don't just award track records without checking things from all angles and they most certainly don't check whilst wearing yellow tinted glasses either...

I find it best to just remember jazkat only shows up when the possibility of a Rossi victory exists.

err they aren't tinted and he did leave the track look for yourself ......., anyway he got pole so lets leave it at that

I have looked and don't think he did, my view matches race direction, funny that. No need for childish insults either.
I'll agree though he got pole and leave it at that.

I hope your alternative reality is comfortable for you.

The head to head figures for Stoner vs Rossi are 38 wins to 26, and 25 to 0 wins riding for Ducati. How this would place Jorge who did indeed best Stoner behind Rossi is very definitely "astounding" logic.

I'm pretty sure Rossi has more than 26 wins.

Comparing results with 2007-10 Ducati in that respective field to 2011-12 Ducati in that field is always tricky and people often draw erroneous conclusions doing that, but OTOH I have always maintained that Stoner could very well be the GOAT of riding 2007-09 Desmocedicis. That isn't enough to make him better than Lorenzo, let alone Marquez or Rossi, though.

err if u check back im likely not here when rossi wins only when it was a good race.....I like tough racing I don't give a .... who wins if the race was good.

Lorenzo would still be on pole, but his 1:31 lap is up for debate. He did get both contact patches on the outside of the rumble strips.

I took a screenshot of it...

Definitely warrants disqualifying that lap. Thankfully like you said he had another lap to get pole anyway so injustice was prevented.

Guess whos back? Back a again? Shadys back tell a friend.

Our very own Slim shady is back. What up dude?

all good here bud I see this forum is attracting more clowns then previous years lol and I thought barry and pinky was bad

Actually if you watch the video in motion, he never was off. The front tire was right on the edge of the curb.

And his rear tire never went out, it was half on, half out.

Wrong again.

watching it in motion doesn't change the still pic you ........ He clearly goes over the rumblestrips then veers back on track. He didn't go over by much, but RD could have scrubbed the lap. I don't care that Lorenzo got a pass and his lap was allowed to stand, but you love to point out RD is biased toward Rossi.. the screenshot shows them giving J.Lo a pass.

I personally couldn't make a judgement in regard to all 4 riders at age 25, particularly since MM isn't actually 25 yet, but our knowledgeable friend GAT/GAW has quite specifically proclaimed a 37 year old Rossi superior to Lorenzo and Stoner. He might be right about current day Stoner, but I would not put my house on Rossi to beat Stoner tomorrow if Stoner was placed on Pirro's/Iannone's bike overnight.

No it doesn't show anything.

Actually looking at the video is important since you can pick up everything perfectly, and Lorenzo never exceeds the track limit. Rossi had 2 wheels fully off, Lorenzo never did.

The old clowns coming out of a car trick was getting old. They wanted to see how many clowns they can fit into one forum now.

Nothing you can type can make the screenshot showing both his contact patches on the outside of the rumble-strip false. The pic is all the proof I need. You don't seem to understand a video is just a series of still pictures shown at speed. Pause the video, look at the still, Lorenzo exceeded track limit. If the video showed Lorenzo never exceeded the track limit, the screenshot wouldn't either.

No I didn't, I obviously was talking about them in terms of careers.

Good to see that you agree with me that Rossi is 11 years removed from his peak, and 8 from his prime though and how impressive it is he's still able to be so competitive against like the 4th generation of riders during his time in the top class.

Rear tire never exceeded the limit. Came close, but never went over.

Sorry that this makes you upset.

Let's talk about how Race Direction/Mike Webb told Aleix he did nothing wrong but still gave him a talking to...let's hear your thoughts on this.

Hahaha, Jorge's rear tire exceeded the limit MORE than his front. I thought you'd at least try to make a case for the front contact patch!!

It is a matter of record anywhere you care to look over the years 2006 to 2012.

If you want to quibble, Stoner was on a Ducati, or on an LCR Honda with discarded Michelin tyres for 5 of those 7 years, as against 2 on a Ducati for Rossi and 5 on a factory Yamaha, and Stoner's record against any and all Ducati riders over those years is 25:1, and 25:0 in dry races or races in which he did not only need to finish ahead of Rossi to win a world championship.

It is also the case Rossi did not get within 1.5 seconds of Stoner's best time from the immediately preceding race weekend in the 2010 Valencia post season test, at the same time that Stoner was immediately faster than Dani Pedrosa on the 2010 Honda.

The rear tire under acceleration has a wider contact patch...contact patch was within the track limits. Close to the edge, but did not exceed. His front tire was already up off the ground under acceleration.

As well as unfamiliarity with the logical process, memory is obviously a problem for you, but (alas for you) not for me.

You can attempt to shift the ground all you like as is your wont, and doubtless will now follow the script from the Monty Python argument sketch, but you very specifically proclaimed a 37 year old Rossi superior to recent/current day Jorge Lorenzo.
