They haven't reall revealed the nature of the fracture. If it was some minor chip not involving the structural integrity of the vertebra he might not be risking much but would still likely be limited by severe pain. If it is an in way significant spinal fracture in terms of structural integrity he would need rather more than 25 days to heal.

The only thing that has been said about the fracture was that it was "small and stable".

I don't know what to make of that since the phrasing seems an effort to minimize it's significance, even in spite of him being ruled unfit. Unless the stable just means it's not at a point where they need to consider surgery. Watching that crash, it seemed nearly as uneventful as Rainey's crash, but obviously it was anything but.

I'm male for sure. Haha.

I sent her some pedals to try for bmx around 2010. We couldn't afford to sponsor her then, fielding a full roster nrs road team cost less :). Had only won a 4x or something wc back then too.

What time do they get on the track? Looking through Instagram and saw Rossi waving his hand again at someone on a suzuki. Must be old footage I think, was An Indo or Philippines account So couldn't read the comments

Interesting clip pedals or flats? I am fiends with her and her fiance Barry. Not this barry a much cooler one. She is 9x cycling world champion 3x bmx and 4x 4cross. They plan to focus on mtb'ing for the next year or so. BMX'ers over the last couple years have been coming over to mtb faster than any time before.

I have to say I unfortunately watched Rainey's crash live, and knew it was bad immediately.

The one thing I would say is that Iannone's judgement of whether he is fit to race is highly unreliable; they don't call him Crazy Joe for nothing, he is very likely the craziest among all these crazy guys.

Lorenzo just broke his own circuit record with a 1:32.076

It's .070 of a second faster than his previous record.

No one is touching that.

Should be a Yamaha 1-2 tomorrow, both rides really need to get the win to have any chance for the title. Should be a good one.

Lorenzo just broke into the 1:31's.

1:31.868

Holy .....

On the BT Sport coverage, Hodgson was desperately claiming he ran off circuit limits and it should be cancelled!
Hopefully this is the recovery that Lorenzo has been waiting for and Michelin has finally provided a tyre he can run with.
There was a nice, open interview with Gavin Emmett and to his credit he blames nobody but himself for his lack of performance lately.
His pole interview was interesting too, he's pleased as punch with his time and says he took risks as the bike was sliding and shaking. For the race he's making no forecasts and says he'll see how it goes, but thinks he has the pace and package to be competitive. Certainly a very conservative viewpoint from him.

eh, that seems harsh, although to me where Lorenzo "rightly belongs" (whatever that may mean) would probably be behind Rossi and Marquez. Ahead of Stoner though.
I hope your alternative reality is comfortable for you.

The head to head figures for Stoner vs Rossi are 38 wins to 26, and 25 to 0 wins riding for Ducati. How this would place Jorge who did indeed best Stoner behind Rossi is very definitely "astounding" logic.

Jester logic as in the eyes of the fool.
On a level playing field both Spaniards are ahead of Rossi, as is Casey too. Which way around I'd place these three I'm unsure, as their peak form hasn't clashed. Marquez has the potential to be the best, but I don't think he's done enough yet to show he's the absolute top dog.

im sure he will have a fly or something in his helmet tomorrow.

epic lap but not really valid he did break track limit

No he didn't or it wouldn't have been allowed. They don't just award track records without checking things from all angles and they most certainly don't check whilst wearing yellow tinted glasses either...

err they aren't tinted and he did leave the track look for yourself ......., anyway he got pole so lets leave it at that

I'm glad I don't get the BT feed in the US. Everything I've heard about Hodgson is awful. I didn't see anywhere where Lorenzo ran off on that lap, so to claim he ran off the circuit is high comedy. Even though Lorenzo will never say it, I think he knows the issue is the tire construction and the operating temperature holding him back. But the whole thing is typical of Lorenzo, he becomes the first rider to ever get past the 1:32's, and glory seeking announcers like Hodgson are the first to disparage it, and influence the thinking of the weak-minded fans.

Lorenzo would still be on pole, but his 1:31 lap is up for debate. He did get both contact patches on the outside of the rumble strips.

I took a screenshot of it...
