Weather could be interesting this weekend. A low pressure system is sitting over the Florence region. If it sticks around, it could shake up the championship again.

The best track on the calendar for my money. I’ll definitely be watching just because of that. Rain would make it quite interesting, with the power and aero slightly less of a factor. With that long ass straight only slightly.

Hmmm, let’s see, who’s good in the rain? This is where the boys get separated from the men.

Last year was Bagnaia, so another predictor. Also last year there were 4 Ducati's in the top 6 with Quartararo and A Espargaro on the podium behind Bagnaia

Actually I'm going to go with Bezzecchi based on last year's results where he came 5th only 3 seconds behind the winner in what must of been about his 5th race of his rookie year.

Of course it can't be called a prediction, but I really do want Zarco to win a MotoGP race. At least one.

For all you doubters: Hey, he's on a Ducati, the same one Martin is winning races on.......

Ok, that doesn't mean much in a sea of Ducatis but I still hope he can notch one.

Damn, the field is tight....another reason to watch!

17 podiums without a win is well ahead of anyone else, I think Colin Edwards is second with 12 podiums without a win

Alex Márquez fastest in FP1, with good times throughout the entire session. Yamaha revival at the end with Fabio 2nd and Morbi 7th. The factory Ducs (Pirro included) were strong during most of the session but faltered when it came to setting a fast lap and dropped from the top 10, a fate not shared by most of the satellite Ducs, which proved to be fast at the end. Marc got a good lap following Bezz but the Hondas are looking pretty crappy in this circuit. KTM so so, Viñales hidden most of the time but set a good qualifying lap, Aleix seems struggling with injury.

Interesting second session. Rins a few spots in front of MM, Fabio back to nowhere. Love him or not, Bagnaia finding his way to the front when it counts (today sort of counts.) Not bad for Bastiannini‘s first day back on the job.

What an awesome track on a beautiful day.
