So they must have forced the rule that handicapped Honda last year as well, your arguments fall as flat as Jums when looked at, but that's hardly surprising now, is it.

You need to get your conspiracy theorists straight, that was my anti-Stoner conspiracy theory (in reply to Big Jorge), not Roger's or Jumkie's.

I am actually willing to consider the possibilty that Dorna changing the tyres after Stoner's 2007 win and the tyres and the bike weight after his 2011 win were coincidental to rather than aimed at Stoner as Lex has argued previously, but they certainly weren't aimed at helping him. I think I am on stronger ground in saying that I think the 2012 Honda would have been of similar quality for the whole of the 2012 season as it has been in 2013 without the changes.

As I have said previously I don't think Dorna are running a pro-Spanish conspiracy, and would be happy for a widely popular/marketable rider of any nationality to be winning, and as Roger says Stoner certainly was not such a rider.

It is just as well for them MM is popular and marketable, because like Stoner in the years he got it together he would be winning anyway regardless of his popularity. He quite possibly might be winning the championship if he was on a factory Yamaha as well. I doubt even he would be winning the championship on anything but one of the 4 real factory bikes though, wherein lies the real problem.

Haha, how ya doing berry me ol mate? I heard risso had gone back to yam. I haven't seen him yet, just one of ezys slow douple gangers rideing risso bike with his leathers on. Don't think ezy wanted to take the risk putting the real riisso on the bike. That could threaten the prized weekly all spanish podium.

Wake in my KL hotel room. Flick on the tube to find detroit tiger vs boston red socks... very strange as 99 percent of Malays have no idea of wtf baseball is (not that they are missing anything - what a gay sport!)

Looked but can't find official attendance for this yr. I'm guessing near 100,000 for Sunday... my perception only but it seemed way busyier than last yrs 77,000. 30,000 first yr I went in 06 for perspective!

....... Jlo should be ashamed of himself, if you're a big enough man to call out MM, Dorna, and the fans, then be a big enough man to admit you made a simple mistake. If he wants to justify it by saying it wasn't a "big touch" than wtf do you call what MM did to DP. He's lucky it was MM, and not DP or CS, the ....... sooking would last into next season, I hope he learned his lesson.
<span style="color:rgb(58,59,62);font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;The words 'no touching' saw Lorenzo asked specifically if he had made any contact with Marquez, to which he replied: “I don't know. We passed I think three, four, five times and I don't think we touched. But if we did it was just a little bit. I didn't feel a big touch.”

<span style="color:rgb(58,59,62);font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;Marquez smiled as he listened to those comments, then gave his opinion: “In one overtake I felt some contact [from Lorenzo]. But it was ok. Like this is the racing, no? He overtook me on the inside. I didn't expect it. We had some contact, but you know in that moment it was so exciting.”

Let's face it Lorenzo was fired up from all the talking this week and decided he was going to try and show Marquez a lesson or two. And the kid let him try, but probably had the pace to ride away from him easier than he did. I don't mind Lorenzo's hypocrisy, but he should at least own up to the touch - it was a pretty decent one.

  Quite the splash you have made here Chopper!  Freakishly awesome, the visual I got from reading the thread was this: a bear coming in and stealing the bee's honey.  The bees flying around in futile fury, some even attempting stings on the bear, as he goes about his business undeterred.  The bees who have attempted stings, having given up their one defense to buffer the attack, now lying on the floor squirming; yet despite their sure fate, they fidget about in gestations attempting one last protest. HAHAHA hahahaha

Well done Chops!

I want him to follow up on his sarky press conference. Those touches would've earnt the extra point he was suggesting, no?

Hawk Sloth, u boys dont understand the difference in contact. At first I was thinking u guys are just going on about to advance your position, holding fast to bolster it. Now I realize you two (like some others) simply dont comprehend the difference. This is why this debate is impossible to carry. Notwithstanding, I'll articulate it for others reading here. Contact is sometimes made in vying for position, this can be clean even if some contact is made inadvertently, both riders are aware and both are in mutual combat, neither is put in an overly precarious position (today's race, and a plethora of similar ones in history), this can also be the result of aggressive 'racing', this is NOT to be confused with a mistake leading to collision ( MM Aragon, which had it not been for a long string of prior similar unmindful incidents, the rider himself would have been spared 'warning') or a collision (of the type we call torpedoes) made by gross errors (Baustista on Lorenzo), or those collisions with intent of forcing another rider to lose advantage precariously by the impact itself (Loris Arg 98, VR Jerez 05, MM Jerez 13).

To honestly fail to understand these distinctions reflects one's fundamental understanding of the sport.

I get that there is different types of contact, and that circumstances allow you to get away with varying levels of it depending on your reputation, history, the attitude of the other rider, etc. It's pretty easy to understand and there are numerous examples every weekend.

But it is hard to justify Lorenzo complaining about riders making contact one day and then going out and making it himself in the very next race, even if both riders are aware of the "mutual combat". Lorenzo was fairly aggressively hanging Marquez out to dry, which is fine, but at least be honest about it and admit you were giving him a taste of his own medicine.

Not really.

Opening laps were great, the end - to which Garbin referred - not so much.

Good to see Dani do the business, though.

Yes, it certainly was busy at the start, and it became less frenetic when the fast boys cleared off, but I thought the racing was good throughout.

Would love to go, but would be pissed off if I spent all that money to have it rain. The only two affordable ones for me are PI and Malaysia, now that Laguna has gone.

I haven't even gone to a MotoGP race........ and I don't think I will, especially how it's run right now.  It's a joke.

Maybe I'll go, not for the race but for all the hott chicks!  Are there nice looking milfs there with their two sizes too small favorite rider shirts?
