No he wasn't ............... that title has been usurped and resides within the #93 team

But as for Puig, love or loathe the fact remains that he has developed, mentored or assisted a lot of successful riders including world champions and it is just as shame that we recall his sheer arrogance with all things early years Dani

What year did Puig put faulty info on Pedro's pit board causing him to push hard and crash? It was like a virtual torpedo that only Puig could pull off. Sachsenring I think?

Didn't he do some mentoring of a certain Australian that is revered as a diety in these parts?

Gut feeling - Dani just felt like ..... They are after all former teammates who by all reports got along quite well. Don't know that he deserves accolades per se for simply doing the right thing - but it's a relief to see him exhibit better behavior than In 2006. Possibly - his behavior then was a result of shyness, embarrassment and bad influence of Puig rather than arrogance. He looked genuinely mortified at having taken out Dovi. That cameras were going to be there is immaterial. He wanted to apologize promptly. Just the normal thing to do.

2008 sachsenring in the rain IIRC. He was miles ahead of 2nd place

Yep, sure was Saschenring with the result being a Pedro faceplant into the airfence (see image)

Yep.

He provided accomodation and a lot of guidance together with opportunities, and that Aussie is one of a number of riders who owe a chance to Puig.

He may well have been (or still be) a total prick, but he has had positive impacts on the sport when you look at who has gone through his riding academy.

Puig gave Stoner the number 27 he continued to mainly race with, and also gave Pedrosa the number 26 and Toni Elias his racing number of 24 both of which they kept after he was involved in their early careers..

Folks here been predicting Dani's departure from Honda since 2007. It's like Waiting for Godot.

I think Rossi's future will be similar to this.

My only regret is the race winner doesn't get to do this...

Great performance by Marquez, not the most exciting race and at least Cal is showing consistency, he'll be back in WSBK or BSB next year I reckon.

Apparently Marquez has been sand bagging, well according to you know who.Does this mother ...... ever just shut the .... up. Dude, news flash, mind games are not working, uh well maybe they are if a 3 time and defending champion can be swayed into leaving the best bike on the grid to prove his onion size to his teammate. Lets say they are not working on Marquez.

Marquez ?plays tactics? when talking about Honda ? Rossi

I admired how Spies looked at Stoner and said "I have no idea what that whiny, faggy .... is doing"
He openly admitted that Stoner was better then him and everyone else. Rossi posseses none of that humility and chooses to create a smoke screen to divert attention away from his inadequacies.

....... A. I could see VR seething behind those words. He can't stand the "cheater" actually being faster than him.

So...Marquez is hyping up the RCV's deficiencies? Uhm...because the M1 is an utter POS, right?

Ducati need to dial down the power and their riders need to go Ally McBeal because they're being mean to the Michelins.

Content Warning: Look ....... (.)(.)

I wish Kropotkin would grow a set and write about how Rossi is tarnishing his late career with this. He's also becoming incredibly stupid with calling out Marquez since this is going to have the complete opposite effect. Watch now, Marquez is going to demolish the field at Jerez and onward.
