ESTORIL 2011-FP & QP

Sure he was. He's crying that Stoner doesn't like him. (I guess he demands people adore him, after all, that's what he's use to).

Rossi doesn't even appreciate the kind gesture Stoner extended to him. He was inviting him to follow, to help him out.

So Jumkie, tell me - Do you think it was proper of Stoner to say what he said in the MCN article?

I disagree about people not liking him Jums. I have heard valentino say that heaps throughout his career (that x person doesnt like him). At the end of the day, he is a racer and if it was me, I couldnt give 3 and half ..... if my rival didnt like me. If anything it probably puts more fuel into his fire.

another thought too, is that if he goes on the tv and makes out like stoner doesnt like him, all of a sudden stoner looks like a prick because he doesnt get on with the very likeable valentino rossi. he's a cunning .......

Ah, I love it! Sete must be laughing his ... off.

Where is the wambulance, Rossi needs a lift.

You don't make any sense, let me help you out with the insults. When you cry and complain, people say to call the wambulance. Stoner was the one complaining about being followed. Like I said before, Casey needs to drop all the talking and focus on winning. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Rossi was following him to just get on his nerves and it worked. He needs to be level headed to put those fast laps in, and the Sete comment was also lame, have you seen his recent interview with his thoughts about Rossi and Stoner. If anything he's probably thinking Casey needs to stay out of Rossi's traps.

You posted this in the same page I posted the pics of last lap. Just adding an 'if' doesn't take away the tone or intention you wanted to convey.

"If" i got that ..... pregnant. "if" is a very small word, with a shitload of meaning.

2. Rossi is a too smart and sophisticated person to show his guilt through obvious body language that could be read by dummies (no insult intended)

<

Ah yes. Rossi has never cracked.... He only gave us a great quote when the pressure of having to be on equal status with Lorenzo caused him to move manufactures.

Estoril MotoGP: Rossi and Stoner clash again

By Matthew Birt - MotoGP

The on-going intense rivalry between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner continued on and off the track today in Portugal.

Back on track for the first time since Rossi caused a controversial collision with Stoner at the previous round in Jerez, a renewal of their fierce rivalry showed no sign of easing tonight ahead of the third round of the 2011 world championship in Estoril.

Aussie Stoner was riled in practice that factory Ducati rider Rossi was following him to try and improve his lap time.

At one stage, the 2007 world champion was seen gesturing Rossi towards him and the Repsol Honda rider explained: "It was like calling Valentino who was always following me. To find the best lap he was always behind me."

"It's like a dog always following you everywhere so it was like c'mon (whistles), good boy. If he is struggling to do a lap time this is it. We had our problems during the session and we were focussing on this but I also saw he held up Toni Elias a lot to find his lap time so I don't think it is so correct."

Rossi spent the majority of a lengthy media debrief with the Italian media talking about Stoner and he repeated his typically forthright opinions when he faced questions from the international press pack.

The 32-year-old said: "About today, I don't think Casey likes me a lot. This is quite clear. First it was because I slowed down to catch my breath because I was quite tired and I wanted to make a last lap pushing."

"Stoner passed and I restarted to push. He was in front of me but I wasn't close but this happens in every practice and every race, so if he doesn't want anybody to follow him then he has to race alone."

Rossi said he had seen Stoner's gesture and he added: "I saw it yes but I expected this. When we are together he always exaggerates everything too much. If I have to make like this in all my career for people that follow me then I break my seat."

For the full story and more on the simmering tension between Rossi and Stoner, see the May 4 issue of MCN.

.

And as some people always say (or Imagine): Imagine, if Rossi had said these things.

Stoner is trying to bring others behind him, Elias and Rossi was a nice bit and nothing was wrong with it, he just hopes to get Elias on his side. This is a bit childish and i think it's a lose lose situation.

This exaggeration about the marshals, and today and his jumping back to track, just shows he is very pi$ed off, and i dont think this will help him on the race day. He is distracted and has set himself up for another championship which is the fight with Rossi.

give me strength struth Casey he needs to do his talking on the track and at this minute Rossi is Making Casey lose the title ALL By himself

But Rossi can run his mouth all day long as long as he's not winning?

That would meet with your approval?

Rossi talks - and the Yellow horde pronounce him witty.

Stoner talks - and the Yellow horde condemn him for talking?

See a pattern here?

No, Casey was calling Rossi, 'here boy, here boy, c'mon, I'll help you'. (A kind and benevolent gesture to help a fellow struggling world champ). Rossi then complained, 'boo hoo, I don't think Stoner likes me, sniffle sniffle.'

Rossi needs to focus on not torpedoing Stoner.

Yes, I've read Sete's forgiveness of Vale. Why do you think he had to forgive him in the first place genius?

its .... either way kesh, its just that stoner has been pinned with the whinger badge, and so his comments will always have a negative spin put on them, deserving of it or not. Rossi whinging doesnt sound like stoner whinging, if that makes any sense....

But there he was trying to manipulate Yamaha using the media which was for his advantage. What would he gain from looking guilty after committing something allegedly illegal?
<

And you didn't answer my question. What do you think about Stoner's response?

I found more details in the following link. My link

If this is true, that is very unsportsman like behaviour from Stoner.
<

I think he is imagining stuff because of his anger or frustration - "Valentino was always following me for a better laptime"? WTF, he was in the pit for 90% of the time when Rossi set a series of laps in low 1.38s..

Stoner always has a strop when people are following behind in free practice and qualifying.

The thing about this is that Rossi wasn't even very close to him. I honestly think Stoner is one of those people that enjoys having something to complain about. Maybe it's some kind of siege mentality.

Uhm, how is that? Let me recap, Stoner and others almost get taken out turn one, race one, but goes on to win race, forward race two, bowling ball Rossi torpedoes Stoner--zero points. Yup, you're right, its Stoner's fault.

May I add a bit of color to said pattern?

As you said 'almost' is a small word.

'I almost got the ..... pregnant' is in effect totally different to 'I got the ..... pregnant' as the final states are diametrically opposite.

Illegal? WTF are you talking about buddy?

What do I think of Stoner's response? I think they should start calling Stoner The Doctor. Because he's dishing out medicine.

Crystal Clear

I love yellow its my favorite colour

Watching Rossi's body language during the media session none of it was positive. It would be nice to get Cal from 'Lie to Me' to give his impression of Rossi's response to the GP12 test question. From my limited knowledge of body language it smacked of shame and untruth.

Well that's that then, case closed.

forward to race 3: stoner whinges for getting nailed by vale (fair enough), stoner whinges for marshalls not starting his bike, stoner whinges for rossi tailing him during fp2. qp, stoner whinges cause rossi puts chocolate milk in his water bottle... maybe... probabably not though.....
