Aragon GP 2011: RACE

Well Casey after your thoroughly embarrassing third last week (joke), that was out of this world. Absolutely on fire. The rest of the race, it had to be said was not the most exciting I've ever watched, but to honest, I watch Moto2 for exciting racing these days, not Motogp. Was dissapointed that Jorge didn't get more in the mix with the Repsols, but, he did get a shift on towards the end.

I've said it before, Rossi's vanity has bitten him on the arse big time with the Ducati move, it's a one trick pony, and Vale is not gonna go for win or bin at this stage in his career. The Suzuki is looking a much better option these days, why not go and follow your hero Schwantz now Vale?

Maybe he's a secret admirer of Casey and wants to win on a Ducati, just like his hero

Us scots eh...great minds and all that.

I reckon him and JB would turn that Suzuki into a flying machine. The Ducati really is pish

Overeaction dude. Why panties all in a bunch? Ok, so u go all postal on the word "boring". No problem. What would u have people call a lack of close racing like u see in M2? It took me a while to see the point of people like Curve saying the racing was boring. But i now understand whats their point. How would u prefer to describe the lack of close racing?

I can only take so much whining before i snap. I just cannot wrap my head around anyone who does nothing but ..... and complain and constantly telling me how bored they are. If you ....... bored, find something that doesnt bore you. I will just go ahead and make predictions for the next 4 races. Stoner fans will be happy, Rossi fans will not, Curve will be bored, and Lex will continue to push for spec racing, then say he didnt..

Whether or not the race was boring is in the eye of the beholder. But one thing is for sure. FIVE ....... PAGES OF DEBATING WHETHER OR NOT THE RACE IS BORING IS THE MOST BORING THING EVER.

ok ............. !!

My point is that you have declared the post above gold because you liked the conclusion (the colour), but you failed to realise that the statement was worthless (like piss).

i understand your choice of words, there's no need to dissect and explain !

See to me you having to explain your point is a worthless comment and therefore taking 20 secs out of my life i will never retrieve.

In the future i will try to align with your way of thinking in deciphering what constitutes a worthless comment, dang it.

Haha, cheers i appreciate it! Sorry for wasting your precious seconds.

No, the sattelite bikes are not expected be faster, or as fast as the factory teams. If he came in and consistently ran in the top 6-8 in his first year, chances are Repsol would pressure Honda to make the move.

I can’t think of any recent cases where a factory rider in the top 3 was replaced by someone 6-8 in the standings, satellite bike or no. Factory riders leave and are replaced (Rossi by Spies, etc.), but a top-3 rider isn’t fired and replaced by a mid-pack rider.

Another thing working against Pedrosa would be his salary demands. Marquez would more than likely be tickled to death to ride for a couple a millon a year, wheras Pedrosa is going to demand about 3 times that amount

The last thing I saw was that Pedrosa was about 4th in the salary ladder with a few of million per year (which is appropriate for a fast rider who’s yet to win a WC). If Marquez were to make the jump to the factory team, I doubt he’d do so at a bargain-basement price.

Its happening right as we speak. Dovi [3rd] will lose his seat to the rider who sits in 8th . Is that recent enough.

Dovi was effectively replaced by Stoner this year -- his third factory seat was never going to last longer than Honda's reluctant honoring of its contractual obligation. Once you get to 4th in the standings (which is where Pedrosa will eventually put Dovi and that's clear to HRC), all bets are off.

Also, Dovi and Simo are both factory riders, so it's not that Simo is replacing Dovi so much as Simo keeping his seat and Dovi losing his, which was never going to last anyway.
