2024 MotoGP Round 10: Monster Energy British Grand Prix - Silverstone Circuit

When he’s healthy and motivated, his riding style is like no other. River water over a pebble.
Unfortunately I'm starting to think that he's not going to get healthy enough to be like the old Rins we knew, not sure Yamaha is making the right decision.

Makes sense to keep Rins

I've heard that Gardner is testing new parts, which is why he is in this race, so we can't look at his performance

Because he's arguably pretty damn good.
He won two of Suzuki's last three races and I personally can't rank him high enough for winning on that 2023 Honda.

That is where I'm coming from.

Rins is very good, a multiple race winner. Yet now, he has been injured for more than one year, on-off.

Yamaha is not the leading bike, and has therefore no time to loose. They need to catch up.

I know they have far better knowledge of Rins' health, than me, and I do hope betting on him is partly because they see the injuries as not hampering his riding.

After yet another race from where he withdraws, from what looked as a minor crash, I do wonder if Yamaha is being too loyal for their own good.

Very good interview with Pecco after the quali.

He is clear and in my opinion correct. You can't have the allegedly fastest motorbike riders out there, not going as fast as possible, during a qualifying.

Fantastic lap by Aleix. We'll see if this is one of the mandated Aprilia wins, or if Pecco runs with it. Marc will have to play catchup again and Jorge needs a good start to have a change. Maybe Enea can give a surprise or two.

Marc needs to talk to his younger brother by the looks of that.
Haven't watched any yet but he is fast on the older bike.
Would like to see AE get a win.

Yes, that was very clear. The question of course is whether something can/will be done about it.

I wasn't unhappy to see the VR46s get in front of MM93, and when MM93 was gesticulating, I was thinking 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes'.

Espargaro showed that you don't need a tow to do a good time. This isn't Moto3.

I completely agree. One thing I admire HUGELY about Bagnaia is he goes out and does his lap. No faffing around, no trying to get tows.

Riding around slowly to get a tow needs to stop, full stop. As I said in another thread, start mandating delta lap times then enforce back of grid starts for anyone who doesn't meet them imo.

Marc disappointed me today, waving his arms at Diggia. If you don't want to get baulked by another bike, then stop following them.

Great job Aleix!

Just watched it.
The VR46 bikes were both following Pecco for the tow until Pecco went wide. MM was following them. All were after a tow except for Pecco. 🤷‍♂️

Well done AE no tow.

AE saying he had to risk a lot to get that lap time on the soft front.
Doesn't sound as promising for race pace. We will see.
Pecco and Enea will be hard to beat.

My only issue with that is he wanted his butt buddies to follow him but not others. It is what it is. If you are going to let your fellow ranchers follow you expect others to join.
