Yes I did. He looked at the tyre and patted the tank. What is your problem Rog?

totally agree. theres know way jorge would take such orders.

You get the feeling that Lorenzo is more obsessed with
beating Rossi - than he is with actually winning the race.

i got no problem mate. but he ran wide on to the dirty part of the track then looked at his rear on track then in the garage. ummm you tend to loose grip on the marbles casey

Why would i have a problem ? my 2 fav riders came 1st and second but i can understand why the casey apologists are pissy -28 pts.

Did you see the way Rossi was slamming the door on Jorge, I just don't understand why he doesn't race Rossi the way Rossi races him. Yeah he is fast and hungry but I want to see him become ruthless and in command. I just think Jorge is better than what he has done on the last few laps of the recent races, look at the lap times.

he said we are happy because where always in front, where always improving and next sunday we will win the race.

Same dipshit fans time & time again. We got a great race on a track that doesn't always produce close racing. But lets rider bash instead hey?
Because dovi didn't blow one corner after running his fastest lap, and start staring down at his rear. Dovi kept trying and trying and trying before finally giving in. Dovi seems to cook his tires a lot. Maybe CS should start running intermediates in the dry. I think you all can figure out why.

Nicky tried the old "ride round the outside of everybody and take advantage of the Repsol's acceleration" trick. Didn't work!! Everybody stuck it to him bigtime on the first lap. I was slamming my fist on the couch for a while there.

At least he's getting to terms with the bike though. He's the first one to really do it on the Duc besides Stoner, IMO. Melandri had one miracle finish and then was at the back of the pack the rest of the season. Nicky is consistently near the top 5 in every practice and race.

Do you realise how silly that comment is? Stoner made a mistake - wow get the noose now.

rossi has years of expierience... lorenzo is gettin closer and will beat him sometime soon, then they will be trading blows more regular.

+1 I think he enjoys the challenge. I have to say I couldn't stand this guy until about three weeks ago, but his attitude toward everything going on is turning me into a fan. I will admit, I really flipped on him when the yamaha video came out. "Why do I have to be yanitor? I no want to be yanitor."

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (hawkdriver @ Jul 19 2009, 03:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I'll probably get flamed for this but
I hope Lorenzo eventually learns how to shut the door on the people behind him, is it just me or are there team orders going on. I need to see some replays but I don't think he ran that line into that corner the entire race, maybe he was just being nice and giving Rossi plenty of room but all the other passes in this race were much tighter.

Rossi did a clean pass but used a very tight inside line. Therefore his is curve speed where way down and Lorenzo tried to answere imediatly by going around, but as he found out the turn is way to long for that.
Compared to the other passes in that turn Rossi took a much tighter line. That's what created the differences.
Being nice to Rossi and give him plenty of space turns into about 5cm, not metres.

It takes more than he can handle to be defencive AND fast. Rossi did his fastest lap on the last lap (as did Lorenzo) but that was with Rossi's silly tight line in corner 13. Any other rider trying that would probably be passed on the outside or into turn 14.
Generally it's very difficult to be defencive in motorcycling. It takes a real master to pull it off. Lorenzo just isn't quite there yet.

When Rossi is in front he is putting a clinic on for Lorenzo on how not to get passed. I'm also kind of pissed that it's starting to look like another predictable season for MotoGP.
