Hayden tried to go around the outside at the first corner and got pushed wide and had cold tire problems....

Melandri is flying.

It sucks that he got shoved out at the beginning - but ............

Il Dottore does it again. Seeing how hard Lorenzo was riding and how
bad he wanted the win . . . there is no ....... way he's going to move
to Honda next year. If he's ever gonna beat Rossi for a championship -
it will be on the Yamaha.

Too bad for Depuniet - the boy was lookin' good.

It's a shame what happened to Hayden at the start, but what a ride from Rossi; The Doctor's having to dig into his bag of tricks this year.

Hayden said he was pretty stiff after two crashes and wasn't realizing
the real potential of the bike. But he sounded full of confidence for
future races. Good stuff.

That was a pretty good race. Even though the number of passes weren't huge they were so close that passes could happen and were atempted allmost everywhere.

Those slow mo's are absolutly fantasic to watch.

fantastic race.
Rossi and lorenzo were awesome

Pedro had some front issues but not as bad as poor dovi.
Stoner moaning about his rear tyre, looked like he out braked and ran on the dirty part of the track to me, maybe he ran over some puke

jk.

i think rossi is starting to worry about his team mate now

Great race! So bittersweet with what happened to Hayden. But with the lady in red dropping like his cookies it more than made up for it. He runs a corner wide and stares at the rear wheel, excuses are going to be flying. When anxiety turned to depression, is what happened when pedders passed him after a scorcher of a lap.
Anyone notice when De Angiles came on screen the announcer, on gp.com, said " this is the first time the sunshine has been out all day." I had to laugh when I heard that.

good race ..... the not so good: de angelis pushing hayden out of the pack... what the hell happend to dovi????

i created a thread about this a few months back are bridgstones tyres consistent?? quality control cant be that hot if this is happening.... pedro foriegn object in his tyre a few months back and now dovi's almost turning square?

Could be a showa problem as its only effecting Honda

I'll probably get flamed for this but
I hope Lorenzo eventually learns how to shut the door on the people behind him, is it just me or are there team orders going on. I need to see some replays but I don't think he ran that line into that corner the entire race, maybe he was just being nice and giving Rossi plenty of room but all the other passes in this race were much tighter.

I don' t think Ross is worried - but he's definitely having more
respect for "Yor-gay". Rossi still has the advantage in
terms of racecraft. I like Lorenzo - but don't think this is his
year for a championship. At this point all the smart money
has to be on Rossi. So much so that - I'm thinking he's got
it won - and I'm already thinking in terms of being excited
over Hayden's finally reigning in the the Ducati and being
seriously competitive in '11. Unless Rossi and Lorenzo
start crashing a lot - I don't see Stoner higher than 3rd
at the end of the season.

Same dipshit fans time & time again. We got a great race on a track that doesn't always produce close racing. But lets rider bash instead hey?
