His tactics could be to stay very close to Stoner in order to slipstream the faster Ducati on the straight, saving also some fuel, and then try something towards the end of the race. For this to have any real chances, he of course is going to need an excellent start.

Also says he is right on the limit with fuel economy and hopes stoner is too. I believe him

If Stoner can achieve the same results this year on tracks that suited the old screamer then he's in the box seat.

Anyone got a spare time machine? It only has to go forward six hours....

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SackWack @ Apr 11 2010, 07:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>New thread for the race?
yeah, people moaned last year when the race thread was included in the quali thread. some peeps have watched quali and want to comment but are yet to see the race because of tv schedules ect., hence both threads have spoiler tags.

You been here long enough and know the score.

I don't know why i ....... bother sometimes

You would be the first to moan if you hadn't seen the race but wanted to see the quali thread without reading any race spoilers. Is it really that big a deal because there's 2 threads, i mean what is the ....... problem ?.

Yes, his experience with Ohlins is important. But why can't people come to grips with the obvious? Randy de Puniet is a very talented rider. I think he could be capable of a one-off win with factory equipment.

And it's not the first time that a satellite Honda receives full factory kits and is faster than HRC, Gibernau was treated like a HRC rider and was faster than them for a long time
<

No argument here.

Oh, right... Whatever. I actually stay out of the forums when I haven't seen the race and don't want to spoil it so I never even actually thought of that.

Really ?? so you didn't read my post which was the last post on the thread before you made your comment then
<
I know quite often people in the states don't get to see the race on tv until mid-week but with a little thought and consideration these people can still come here and read without spoiling the race before they have seen it.

I think i heard the on the TV coverage here that LCR aren't using the same forks as the rest of the Honda guys, they have chosen to stick with the slightly smaller diameter forks they were using last year because they know them well.
