May I point out again that race direction, as Mike Webb himself is on record stating, concluded that Marquez was in fact putting up a stiff fight with Rossi only to slow him down? This kind of race behavior is not punishable under the rules, even as blatant as it was at Sepang, -- but there is no denying it.

The accusations of Marquez are based solely on FAITH. There is NO EVIDENCE to speak of, ZERO!

The opinions on this matter of faith are diverse, you can find them scattered across a spectrum, but there is a cluster concentrated on Marc's guilt. Mike Webb's (and certainly those he collaborated with) OPINION was the only one which had consequence. You have based TRUTH on a man's OPINION that was based on FAITH.

Marquez said he was running his own race, minding his own business. Mike Webb has called him a liar. Valentino Rossi has called Marquez a liar. J4rno, you have staked your entire BELIEF as a statement of TRUTH based on the figments of imagination.

I just got in this fight on another message board.

I've asked for evidence that MM has been conspiring since before the Phillip Island race to sabotage VR. I continue to be told that the evidence exists, but no one can produce it. Then I am told "Well it's circumstantial, but any one can come to the correct conclusion based on this." where correct conclusion means believing MM was going after VR.

I read a Lavery tweet that Marquez had broken the unwritten rule of battling with a title contender. So he will definitely have his hazards on, pulled over to the side until Rossi is safely through.

I disagree.. Racers are racers.. They are not pulling over.. Maybe a little less aggressive on any drives to the inside to retake the position if lost, but they will not just pull over.

To much ego in all those boys....

I wouldn't go back that far, I'd just concentrate on Sepang. Otherwise you will have boppers looking at every tiny thing on Marc's life as "evidence " he was this evil mastermind. I have a picture of Marquez riding his scooter across the Yamaha garage in the Indy paddock, PROOF he was out to get Rossi!

Whenever there is a singular incident where the opposition have no evidence to base their verdict yet chose to base their entire premise on some mere 'suggestion', the best tactic is to laser focus on getting them to provide factual evidence. I try (with varying degrees of success) to focus on the crux, the pivotal point that these flawed premise is hinged on, in this case purely FAITH.

We are thousands of posts in, has anyone offered one shred of actual evidence Marquez toyed with Rossi that isn't based on FAITH? Wouldn't we think that by now the millions of fans around the world would have uncovered it? Here is what has happened, Rossi accused Marc of toying with him as a statement of fact. The Boppers have echoed it as a statement of fact. Look at J4rn0 above, he said it's UNDENIABLE FACT that Marquez toyed with Rossi. Its actually quite fascinating to witness this play out.

So what in your opinion would constitute legitimate "evidence?" You expecting CSI Sepang to show up and take DNA samples and fingerprints?

You do recognize the concept of Empirical Evidence? If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and smells like a duck, chances are good ... it's a duck. Even in proper courts of law - judges hand down decisions that are based on common sense and analogical substantiation.

Edit: and if you think about it, that's a much higher standard than the vacuum being used to find guilt for Marc.
