Seriously - Dani has had more surgeries (than we know of) than Lorenzo and Rossi put together and the tiny dude comes back and gives Rossi one of the best end-of-race battles in years. Best MGP season in ages. Motegi coming up should be a Honda race if stupid Marquez doesn't try to win it in the first lap. IMHO his seeing Lorenzo get the hole-shot again really put his tiny brain on over-boil. Gotta be frustrating as hell to have such a dominant quali - only to have Lorenzo render it valueless by walking away with the hole-shot.

Think it over.
Why would he refer to that....why?

Just like that Stoner "Ambition" comment that you sook about. Why did Stoner say that? Think.

Actually, forget it. Retain your attitude. It's cool.

Haha Obviously I get it. Its the same old copycat ..... Honestly I think he didn't get what Rossi was saying.

I'll say what I said again about the ambition over talent comment, since you choose to bring it up. Talent with no ambition is as worthless as sand in the desert.

Not getting second may not seem like a big deal, but I think that was a big loss for VR.

I think he waited too long to start making his move and wasn't expecting Dani to fight back like that.

263-249 VR.

Yeah he's going to need another race victory at least if J-Lo runs the table, or is in a position to do so.

One more race win (PI is one of the last 4 races as has been said previously) or another wet race unless by some unlikely chance won by Lorenzo will clinch it for Valentino.

Jorge could have it in his control if he had not been outsmarted by Valentino/availed himself of the opportunity to crash presented to him by Valentino last race. Had he settled for 3rd or 4th (I gather he was with Redding who finished 3rd when he crashed out) he would be leading the championship now.

Ambition sufficient to win 2 world championships and 38 premier class races, particularly for a rider who mainly rode a Ducati, is plenty by almost any standard, if not Rossi's, although Valentino's ambition to win on a Ducati did not seem to ebb all that slowly.

I think Stoner certainly did run out of ambition after his 2011 championship win, and shouldn't have let himself be persuaded to continue in 2012.

LOL! - but you gotta give it to him # 6 was a Suzuki and in front of two first class sattellite bikes.

If Lorenzo runs the table on the last 4 races, he's going to win the title regardless of what VR does. The points gap isn't big enough.

I still think JL has a very good chance of winning the title even though he is down by 14 points right now. Rossi can finish second every race and still lose the title if JL wins every race. He's going to need some help from the Honda's ironically if he cannot win a race outright himself.

And now hes just dust in the wind while the rest of his era is still going strong.

Dust...that seems to get in your eyes.
The cause of all that watering.

Make sure to tell add the *stating that he will only be valid for a few years and then irrelevant.

Regardless of how you wish to spin Stoner's record, DP would take it gladly as would all but less than 10 other guys who have ever raced.

I have always been well aware he is not as good as Rossi, and have no problem with that fact.

In answer to your other question, I believe Dr No who is Australian brought Stoner into the race thread, but in response to what seemed more like a whine than a complaint from you about another rider who is not Valentino Rossi but has been known to beat him, as he had just done.

So irrelevant that you cannot help to ....... bring him up all the ....... time?
....... funny.
.....

Irrelevant would seem to be more along the Criville and KRjr WCs....seemingly forgotten men. Sadly.

I liked in the conference how Dani was talking about how much he valued his last few laps with Vale. He said that Vale was the master of changing braking points at will and how his confidences was supreme; and he said so humbly how lacking he was in that department. Very difficult to say that to cameras broadcasting that to the world.

I did not bring him up Micheal did. Stoner and this conversation are irrelevant but if you choose to reply so will I. Feel free to take this conversation to any other thread you sooks want to bring it up in.

Meh, funny thing is, if he wild carded at Philip Island for Honda, he'd win that race in spite of not racing in 3 years. His talent is all still there.

Stoner was something to see at PI. I witnessed it many times...
but I am not convinced he'd smoke the field. Much as it would be amusing
