MotoGP: 2015 Round 13 - Gran Premio TIM di San Marino (SPOILERS)

22, this is how we got to this point in the first place my friend, by someone (Kesh) trying to nanny the forum. It didn't work, in fact it created the opposite effect. So instead of him taking responsibility and identifying himself the problem (that is the nanny) he has recruited others to nanny for him. How do you suppose that will work out?

Its stunningly simple. 22 we have another thread going simultaneously. There is no need for anybody to say stay on topic, In other words there is no need for someone to Nanny the forum. Because that is exactly when we get into problems. By the way Kesh is not in that thread. Coincidence that it has not turned into a flame war? I think not.

I honestly think the problem is trying to herd a bunch of independent minded individuals. Kesh trying to Nanny a group of cats. Think about it, how might have you reacted if someone told you that you were behaving badly when you had the heated discussion with Lex?

I said if you all agreed to stop this I would not provoke it further, You haven't agreed so - I've broken no promise. Let me know when the three of you agree to end this and I will do the same.

I still haven't said .... but you still include me in your hunt to outcast us. Take a tip from me and ....... stop. I didn't respond to your earlier request because it lacked any kind of apology what so ever. So I didn't respond. Try it sometime.
Y'all are not helping by letting him get away with this over and over. I'll stop he'll stop they'll stop. But then it will start again.

this is what you mean :gun2: them not yourself....

I am trying too...

Was JLo's helmet steamed up before he crashed?

Have seen any videos, other than the on board, of the actual start of his crash?
It looked from the onboard the rear tire started the whole thing but i need to see it from a different angle to be sure....

and thanks

Cold left hand side tyre, I don't think there was any visor issues this time.

Sometimes I really wish they would change the name of the race because every time I hear "San Marino Grand Prix", I ALWAYS think of the 1994 F1 race. Seems to be inextricably linked in my mind.

Me too, that is one of two days in my short life that I can remember like yesterday.

In an interview I read today he claims that impatience cost him the race.

Point taken Jums.

I was guilty of exactly the same with Barry - and on occasions with Lex. Trust me, you think this is bad, nothing can derail a racing thread faster than 50 pages of supply side Reganomics, game theory and a relentless series of Milton Freidman quotes.

Nice pice this week Krop, good read. I don't mean this ^^^^^^ btw in case you suspect I'm picking on you.

As for the last 25 pages, we don't need forum police, fighting sections or anything of the like. This place has always had a meandering nature to the threads. They go where they go, ........ will eventually be put in their place. Nothing wrong with that.

Friend, may I remind you that you also asserted Ducati had done nothing special nor radical to accommodate Rossi while at Ducati? Whi here would agree with that assessment of the account?

Good to read that you concede Dorna having to repair the relationship, but your revision now, like migs, has attempted to gloss over the reality of the switch to Ducati. The Japanese also value honor, which was lost when Rossi left in a fit of personal ego. It took Dorna to repair if not outright coerce a return. Honda are Japanese too, are u going to make a case Honda wanted him back? Neither wanted him back because he is an egotistical person who has fits in the media making everybody the villain including his employers. Rossi bad mouthed Ducati, you think Yamaha didn't notice!? Who wants a guy like that? Remember when he had a mock interview in the media with Graziano? Oh you had forgot about that. Using the media to whine and badmouth. You guys compare Rossi now to this notion that he was coveted, but truth is he had wore out his welcome with his primadonna fits at the time. Again, the LEAGUE had to step in! You guys can after the fact rationalize all you want but that doesn't change the history of what actually happened. And because Yamaha were coerced to accept him back does not make others less capable, as again we have been conditioned to believe AGAIN the lie that was believed before his Ducati stint. Make no mistake, Rossi was ushered back by Carmelo himself (thanks Gaz for reminding me of his words that had declared and betrayed the backroom deal). Again, Carmelo was happy to have Rossi on the podium, but with a 1:3 chance at a title, that was a no brainer. As much as Migs has tried to discredit Kropo (ah the irony) even J4rno concedes Dorna's involvement despite your bias about how this played out.

Regarding the level playing field. I think you forgot how we got to a single tire supplier. Revisit the sequence of events, as you should realize it revolved around Rossi. The guy who threated to leave if he didn't get Bridgestones!!! Yes the one threat that has been the ice bucket for Dorna, the same motivation then was the same motivation that sent cold shivers if Rossi threatened to retire instead of riding for Ducati another few years!

Excuse me Yamaha, we have an offer you can't refuse....

DORNA 2015 World Champion

Stay focused. The question to answer was: do you think that Yamaha would prefer NOT having Rossi rather than having him? Because it boils down to that. Simple.
Ah, and welcome to Japanese pragmatism. ;)

The simplest answers are often enough the right ones.
Nobody can forget Rossi demanding the Bridgestones
but for the life of me I can find no link to any statement
from Rossi where he advocated for a single supplier.
I'd been under the impression that this was Dorna's idea.

I thought Lex was awesome. Sure, he'd get pretty wonky on policy occasionally but I found him interesting.

They already did prefer not to have Rossi on $12 million back in 2011 remember. And now they have Rossi on $2 million, with uncle "I am calm" Ezzy picking up the rest to keep the goose happy.

Yamaha played their hand very well. They let Rossi go, got a championship while he was away, got him back at half the price. Of course they prefer having him now. They are actually functioning well as a team, no walls, no worries.

Yamaha also now seem to have a good deal more sponsors than they did under the JLo/Spies era.....yamaha has to be happy about....

I randomly dropped onto page 37 and there's a lot of talk about me and a loose or tight butthole...is it worth going back to read the preceding pages or do I get the feeling that would 30 minutes of my life I will never get back ?

Well, unless you want to read about what comes out of tight buttholes, then no.
