Is that code for seamless gearbox?

LOL...no, maybe they opened up the motors a little more?  Krops reported the Yamaha seamless isn't ready to race, can't recall the timeline of when Yamaha will give it a go.

Swollen jaw for Marc, thats got to hurt with a helmet on.

Read about the nasty crash for Marquez and Smith. Wow, just shows how scary this sport can be, So Smith has a broken bone in his wrist and will need a skin graft, yet he's still riding. That's just brave if you ask me.

A swollen jaw even with a helmet on, that's bad too. I hope they're both fit and well again soon.

Rain or shine, VR will be on the podium, if not the win.  That or a Ducati will win, or be on the podium.  I'm not kidding either.

Hmmm lemme see, Jum...  the fact that you can predict the predictable (predictable in the case of VR at least), is a proof that it's all a fake?

(spoiler) Rossi wont win despite topping the time sheets.

If Rossi keeps this pace up and him and Lorenzo are within .030 of each other come race time Rossi will gut Lorenzo in a knife fight around Mugello. Weather will be huge as well. But Vale looks like he's having fun and that's when he's at his best these days.

Btw, any news on Bradley and Marquez?  Those crashes looked scary.  Marc looked shaken up but fine, however, in other news... Bradley's looked worse as it appeared his hand was stuck under the bike.  Hope both boys are good to go and uninjured.

Oh, and I might as well say it here.  I'm tickled by the peeps talking about the wall Marc slid next too as being dangerous.  Ironic how they are so concerned with "safety'.  I'll remember the conversation the next time Marc torpedoes somebody and the same peeps talking about this wall are also justifying scud missile impersonations.   :)

<p style="margin-left:0px;Lots of riders saying the wall is too close to the track at point where Marquez crashed. Been raised before, track says can't move wall.

<p style="margin-left:0px;@motomatters If they can´t move the wall, the FIM can move the race. That wall would never be tolerated at a Spanish track. It is a timebomb

<div style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;Watching the security camera footage of Marquez crash, you can see him lock the front and save the bike from a crash. At 337 kmh!

Then he crashed nearly at 250 kmh!  There were several saves during FP1 & 2.  Looks like the rains made the track tricky.

Hope this doesn't thwart Dovi's confidence.

Time for Rossi to put his balls on the line. The championship is not going to be yours - so it is the time to go for one last shot at glory. Put the fear and conservatism to one side for a weekend, pretend like it is 2006 and chop Marc, Dani and Yourgay like they are Max and Sete incarnate. Laugh to yourself in your helmet like a maniac as you do it. I'm sure that's what you did back in the day.

As much as I have grown tired of Rossi over the years, I will happily bow down in front of my tv should the planets align and he wins in Italy in front of the yellow worshippers one more time.

It's a shame that Dani is going to spoil the party...

I'm sure Rossi feels as strongly as you, the problem is that he's no longer the class of the field.  Not even close.  Additionally, his newest rivals are not in awe, not impressed and largely view him as the champion of a different era.   He no longer has the mental edge, the intimidation factor that he skillfully wielded for so long.

Uhmmm isn't the wall danerously close at Laguna too?  Whatever Dennis

A wall is deemed dangerous when Marc (or a Spanish rider) is almost injured...I guess.  I'm laughing because Noyes, who I respect, said 'in Spain they would not stand for it' (paraphrasing, but see his tweets); I guess he forgot when Nicky recently went over the wall in Aragon SPAIN. No track is ever going to be completely safe from rider error (lets shelve the odd mechanical).  Sure it was impressive that Marc "saved" a crash from 300kph, but then again, its not like the lock up happened out of thin air either, which led to a 200+kph crash.  These guys are not machines, so errors are going to happen, but it smacks a bit disingenuous to me (admittedly an ignorant and cynical opinion on my part) when suddenly these guys are all concerned about "safety", when in fact the most dangerous thing I've seen related to a one Marc Marquez has been a propensity to use others as a berm (something like a wall).  But then again, that is just admirable racecraft... :)
