I can see your point about mid season but we must not forget there is still second place is up for grabs and michelin they were disgrace in last 3 races.They have showen improvement in misano but there is still big question mark for next 5 races and i think dani just had enough and he is not willing to take any more gamble with michelins whereas stones are pretty much consistent whole season.
I completely agree with doohan on dani having worng people around him.

Credit for the championship? No way in hell. The only pressure Vale has been applying is on the scoreboard. That lead was handed to him by Ezmerelda and the other people who can't stand to watch the consequences of true prototype racing.

While I'm not a huge fan of heavily restricted modern prototype racing, I don't particularly relish the idea of destroying it by handing out favors to one rider. Level the playing field for all. I wanna see what's going to happen not what DORNA thinks is supposed to happen.

Lex also thinks the only reason Nicky does not win at every track is because someone goes around tampering with his bike at each track....

This weekend conspiracy excust is that HRC mechanic droped the bike off it's stand on to Nicky's foot by 'accident'...otherwise he was perfectly fine and would have won the race...

wrong ! rossi waited not only until the season had ended, he waited until his contract expired with them unlike dani who jumped ship half way through the season and threatened to boycott races he they didn't concede.

None of rossi fans critisising dani for switching tyre to stones,only arugement is his dicision to do it the midway season which being a rossi fan i have no problem with it because i can understand that there is still second place is up for grabs in the championship and i think most of rossi fans would like to see lorenzo and dani fighting with rossi and CS for first place.Rossi fans like close racing like rossi himself thats why he got so many fans.

Dani doesn't make the decisions though does he? Repsol Honda and HRC do so he can't be blamed for the mid season switch. Lets all get off the Spaniard's back for once.

Why does it matter that he jumped ship now? It is for mutual gain for all parties and similar to what you said Dani doesn't want to ride mid pack. I don't think there is a disgrace in "jumping ship" things change and just like Rossi last season Dani's morale is damagng his performance as much as his tyre performance and a change is the only solution.
