Husqvana says that Agius is Japanese :D Senna Agius It also says that he was born in 1997.

After my mistake with Roberts, I was looking up their ages. Kelso is 21. Roulstone is 19. Agius is also 19 I think. All of these riders have time to rise through the ranks. Agius maybe in Moto2 next year, and Kelso and Roulstone could easily move up in Moto3 with others graduating and more experience.

Have Husqvarna got it wrong or does Senna have some Japanese heritage?

Given both the age and nationality appear wrong, I guess Husqvana have it wrong. It was the first link I found so I was industriously writing a post saying that I thought he might be a bit old to have time to grow and develop in Moto2 :D Then I checked again.

That makes Aguis half bogan :)

Can you rate some well known Australian riders in terms of their boganicity?

Changes topic: Me watching the 2010 125cc championship is interesting. Marc Marquez clearly would have dominated even more if he had not had accidents that damaged his shoulder. The more things change, the more they stayed the same.

Bradley Smith didn't really shine in 2010, but on his day he was an exciting rider able to pull off some great passes. I really didn't become familiar with him until he was in Moto2 and then MotoGP, and he looked less impressive there. I'm not sure that watching the 2009 125cc season will come to the top of the priority queue, but I think I want to revise a few of his wins.

I’ll let people reach their own conclusions about the Marquez brothers.

I conclude Alex's move on Alvero wasn't that bad though it was bad enough for Alex to raise his arm in apology. The other angle of Marc's move on Bulega (posted in the Silly Season thread) makes it look as if Marc was riding as if Bulega wasn't even there. Or Marc was the bowling ball and Bulega was the number 9 pin that had to go so Marc could get his spare. Never be the rider standing between Marc and a visit to Parc Ferme.

He's not exactly one of the calmest racers out there. And, from the race of champions, perhaps he hasn't cooled down that much with decades of experience.

Race of champions
  • Pettrucci has a arm injury hence why at back of the field
  • A Marquez overtake looked OK to me, just that Baultista didn't see him and had to take a course correction
  • M Marquez overtake on Bulega, we can't see it from the camera angle. There doesn't appear to be a touch between them so if there was its light
  • Bagnaia showing why he's a world champion
  • Who is Glenn Irwin? BSB?
  • Iannone giving Ducati 1 more reason to pay attention

Glenn Irwin races for the PBM Ducati team in BSB. It does seem odd that he did as poorly as he did. While the bar will be lower in BSB than it is in MotoGP and WSBK, I didn't think it would be as different as it appears from the race result. I wonder how previous BSB Ducati riders fared in previous Race of Champions.

Glenn is a handy rider and BSB is pretty competitive.
I think it would have been his first time racing at Misano, which would explain his results partially. Did they have much practice time?

Has there not been Race of Champions in previous years? My attempts to find previous years' videos and results have failed.

I wonder what happens to the bikes that were raced. I'm guessing that if Ducati chose to, they could be sold at a premium. Except for Bulega's bike. No, I'm not thinking of buying one :D

Entirely possible and I dare say in character that MM tried a Rossi/Marquez last corner Jerez move on a rider who was neither Sete nor Jorge, but I haven’t seen any film which shows what happened, just YouTube footage which doesn’t play in Australia and a comment that there was no sign of contact on MM’s bike.
