Here is Rossi actually said....

'I was very, very fast and I did the pole position, but at the same time,
I had an impressive race pace with the race tires.

Very fast, the bike was okay. Sunday, nothing worked. I didn't have the same grip from the tires.

And when I start for the race, the bike was impossible to ride.

For me, something strange happened with the tire. The tires were not the same of Saturday, I think, but you never know.'

Right....He doesn't say that the quality of tyre was not the same just that it didn't feel the same....maybe.....

HAHAHA, only you could revise what VR said while quoting what he said in the same post.

We are witnessing why it's impossible to ever achieve consensus. If an interpretation of a straight forward quote can be so grossly twisted as we witness here.

Migs is delusional.

Seriously, how the .... do you claim he said the quality of the tire was not the same, when he said, "The tires were not the same of Saturday, I think, but you never know."

Since he speaks in that semi-broken English, a native English speaker would have said it more along the lines of...

"I think the tires were not the same as Saturday's. But you never know if they might have been."

"The tires were not the same as Saturday's I feel, but you never know."

Either way, however you change the wording to make the structure flow better, he is basically saying he doesn't believe the tires were the same as the one's he used the day before. He left himself an out in case it pissed people higher up off because it would put it in the open that different folks get different tires, which ventures into the realm of race rigging.

Jumkie: Hi Rossi, thanks for coming here to clear things up. So Vale it seems Migs here just yesterday said he had never heard about this tire conspiracy, he scoured the Google machine and came up empty, except for a link that quoted you alluding to some "strange" occurrence during this event. Migs was skeptical it had anything to do with 'tires'. It appears now he found the transcript, oh what a little digging finds.

Rossi: Ah yes, berry berry funny.

Jumkie: So Vale, can you please elaborate on this "strange" occurrence?

Rossi: "I was very, very fast and I did the pole position, but at the same time,
I had an impressive race pace with the race tires."

Jumkie: Migs, notice Rossi established a baseline here. He is establishing for us that everything appeared normal, specifically with the "race tires".

Migs: "Rossi is superstitious."

Jumkie: Thanks for setting up the baseline, can you please elaborate for us Valentino?

Rossi: I was..."Very fast, the bike was okay. Sunday, nothing worked."

Migs: AH HA! You see, Vale is talking about the bike, not the tires!

Jumkie: Vale, what do you mean "nothing worked", can you be more specific please?

Rossi: "I didn't have the same grip from the tires."

Migs: "Rossi is superstitious. Or maybe he was "nervous".

Jumkie: please continue Valentino.

Rossi: "And when I start for the race, the bike was impossible to ride."

Migs: AH HA! Rossi doesn't mean tires.

Jumkie: please Doctor, continue, and be more specific.

Rossi: "For me, something strange happened with the tire. "

Jumkie: ah I see, so something odd and unexplainable happened with the tires the "race tires" that you had established were fine on Saturday?

Rossi: "The tires were not the same of Saturday, I think, but you never know.'"

Migs: "Rossi is superstitious", he wasn't talking about tires, I think he doesn't mean a conspiracy when he says something very strange happened with the tires, maybe the 9 times World Champion "was nervous", maybe Nicky's family snuck into the garage and put gremlins in Rossi's bike.

ACTUAL QUOTES were used in this post to protect the innocent.

Hahahahaha that's hilarious.

I bet even if Carmelo came out and say something got ...... up with the tire allocation for Rossi, Migs would say he was misremembering.

Has anyone read Stoners book? In that he states that during the 2006 season he'd often be racing on tyres that he hadn't practiced on, which is exactly what Rossi is claiming in that quote.

I demand you retract your statement sir, we don't believe in conspiracy around here despite Rossi clearly accusing of the same strange and odd anomaly. What we call it when Stoner accused tire shamanism is officially to be referred to as "whinning". ;)

LOL Stoner wrote a book? How many pages is it like six?

Its a picture book, obviously so Rossi fans can enjoy.

It'll have to many pages then, as he'll be celebrating all those times he beat the likes of Max and of course poles, wins and any podiums.

Stoner can't make up his mind on an ending, his book will be one of those choose your own adventures

Or.... just possibly - he meant, I get so tired of being asked the same freakin' question day in and day out so there on second thought there's a good chance that the tires were in all likelihood the same but one of a million variables, suspension, track temperature, electronics etc was making it feel different and it's just so much easier to blame it on the tires rather than say, I really don't know what the problem was.

He could also have just been saying that he's not infallible and could have made a mistake in judgement.

Note to "Nobody". As usual you have nothing of substance to say and you still have the same sense of humor as you did as an 11 year old in public school, which is why you hide behind yet another fake avatar trying in your callow and puerile fashion to degrade any real debate into another sniggering mean girls popularity contest. Just remember, it's always the popular jocks and hot chicks from Jr High that peak at 16 and end up being the biggest losers as adults. The fact that you went to all the trouble of creating your umteenth fake avatar just for the purpose of a broma barata for the three guys in the cheap seats illustrates this perfectly.

Now I know you've gone crazy. You are having a argument with nobody.
