2023 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia

Who's behind you and by how far is standard pit board communication. I'm surprised he wasn't asked to yield
Of course it is. I am surprised he didn't yield even without being asked. The gap at the top is in single digits. Didn't make sense to me and a red mist whilst racing for 7th?
Pecco doesn't seem too concerned publicly.

That was dramatic. Races are never decided until the end, and Martín paid with overconfidence, his title lead only lasting only one day; oh well, time to learn from this. I wonder if this will shake his form. Pecco, what a race, absolutely extraordinary and his best ever; I know a lot of people don't rate him as high as other riders but this was a career defining moment for him. Great races by Mav and Fabio too, I wonder if any of them could've gotten the win if they hadn't been battling each other. Binder with a total wreck job and even then he still finished 5th not too far behind the top 3, preceded by Di Giannantonio with the best ride of his MotoGP career so far, a little too late for him.

Next week, the best race in the world.

Martín is a machine. Not much of a strategist. Reminds me of the times Stoner was 8 seconds ahead of the field and crashed .

I've said it before but none of the new crop of riders strike me as the strategist type. They know how to go fast but beyond that...

I have had the same thought since Mir won the championship. It seems less about who wins the championship and more to do with who didn't lose it.
