I found it! 26:42 (40:34 to go) ....... STONER! I think the pass looks a bit odd, almost like they were both surprised. I think Stoner thought Nicky was gonna go wide. But I'll give Nicky the benefit of the doubt. Yeah, he stood Nicky up. ....... .......!!! How about a little courtesy wave mothafuker!

Pedro, well done, less than a month from 'shoulder' surgery and in the front row. I wonder how many tenth's the injury is holding him back. Perhaps he could consult with Rossi.

On the Honda the shoulder injury really doesn't effect his performance at all, unlike the Ducati. Since Stoner went to Honda it has been programmed to ride itself so Pedrosa is actually just dozing with his head on the tank and acquiring very much needed recovery sleep as he supposedly rides.

Ducati did have the same system whilst Stoner was there too but Stoner must have nicked it when he left, hence why Rossi is having so much trouble with his leg shoulder fuel. Either that or as we all know Rossi does not require any electronics so even if he has the "ride itself" software installed he would refuse to use it, as we all know Rossi would use his talent instead of ambition.

Calm down Jumkie! he was just using Nicky for practice since Rossi would only tail along behind and not dare get near enough to go past.

Lorenzo and Simoncelli in public row

Jorge Lorenzo vehemently criticised Marco Simoncelli in the post-qualifying press conference at Estoril this afternoon as the pair's dispute over riding ethics escalated.

Lorenzo had claimed earlier in the weekend that Simoncelli's riding style was too aggressive, citing a close call between them in last year's Valencia finale as an example.

Today Lorenzo beat Simoncelli to Estoril pole position, and in the end of day press conference, the Italian attempted to rebuke the Spaniard for his previous comments.

"I read something that he said about my riding style, but for me, he said some wrong things, because he said that last year in Valencia I touched him and he nearly crashed, but it was not true because I was in front, he tried to pass me and he made a mistake. For me that is not a correct example," said Simoncelli.

But Lorenzo hit back firmly, saying he stood by his criticisms and that his view of Simoncelli's riding manners was shared by many other riders.

"From my side, I think yesterday I spoke the right words. For me, it's not a problem. If nothing happens in the future, it's not a problem. We'll see what happens in the future," he said, addressing Simoncelli directly.

"I think you have done a lot of touching with a lot of riders. How many races have I not crashed or touched anyone?

"This is your opinion, but I think a lot of people here in the paddock and a lot of riders have the same opinion as me. Ask [Andrea] Dovizioso, for example. Or [Hiroshi] Aoyama.

"If in the future nothing happens, it's not a problem. But if in the future something happens with you, it will be a problem."

The spat drew widespread laughter among the gathered media, but Lorenzo said he had a serious point to make.

"Everybody is laughing, but it's not funny, because we are playing with our lives," he said. "We are riding at 300 km/h with a very powerful and very heavy bike. It's not mini-bikes. It's a dangerous sport and you have to think about what you do."

Asked if he would feel comfortable potentially battling for victory with Simoncelli in tomorrow's grand prix, Lorenzo said he was happy to fight and confident in his own ethics.

"It's okay, I'm ready for a fight with other riders," he said.

"I don't like to fight not clean. I crashed into [Alex] de Angelis in Japan, and he crashed because of my mistake, but from this time forwards I've tried to ride clean.

"I can make a mistake because I'm human. But when I ride, I think twice. I am not impulsive because it's one thing to play with your health, but another thing to play with the other riders' health."

Imagine if Rossi had said these bs.

I,m starting to like imagining things.

is this a pu$$y racing serie or a health care campain? Lorenzo and Stoner are learning very fast, and they have become the advocate of other riders.

Well, it was a dry track, so I wouldn't go that far. But yeah, lets not start our own thread.

(I hope Thread-Makermachine-Viper doesn't see it).

First of all, its not BS. What Lorenzo said should be sobering to anybody. Second, Rossi doesn't have the standing to say this, since he just torpedoed somebody in the last race.
<

Last time I seen the anti-goat act like this on track he blew chunks in his helmet. Woosa Stoner.

"I think you have done a lot of touching with a lot of riders

This line is what might have caused the laughter.

Is there an official way for a team to launch a complaint. Why do these guys like to speak for each other. Let the other riders speak up for themselves or let the teams go and complain about a rider to dorna or whoever is in charge. Lorenzo has a point about safety but let everyone speak for themselves or through their teams if they're scared of looking like a tatle tale. It seems to me the team managers should be handleing these things, if your rider has a problem go take care of it by talking to the officials in an official capacity. This going to be an interesting season with all the name dropping going on. Gresini is working on a new deal for Sic and supposedly Yam and Repsol also want him.

Been waiting for this storm to hit town for some time. I've never liked Brillo-boy. I can easily recall the .... he pulled on Ayoma, Dovi and Baustista back in the 250 races. Like my dear ol' Ma used to say, Once a ......... always a .......... He's been remarkably restrained these last 12 months - but his real nature is starting to show.

Re: those passes this morning by Stoner on Nicky and the trustafarian kid - all I can say is, WTF??? I'd like to hear that he's made some kind of apology to both of them. He was looking almost as desperate as Rossi.
<

Told you all Nicky 'the kentucky squid' Hayden sucks......ut I'm sure you all already know that. But hey, it gives you pleasure to root for the suckiest rider, right? Something to do with sympathy.
