Well it was appropriate to that comment...btw; I don’t always lose my cool this way but it just rubbed me the wrong way...when you get someone who doesn’t post and then has the hide to be so critical in such an insulting, degrading manner and also wait like a cat to jump on a comment which he was out of context with anyway, with a ridiculous remark!!! Just grow up krazy, but then again “krazy” might just be appropriate to you!!!....

Pretty good race. Rossi was strong in the dry so his win wasn't much of a surprise. Its Rossi's standard level when everything works. He showed eveyone how its done, great stuff.

Very cool ride from Casey. Got himself into a good position and did all he could. Kept it upright, brought it home and keeps a nice buffer in the championship. If Rossi's winning, Casey needs to be right behind him and vice versa.

Good on Nicky, looking stronger, beat his team mate and is finally the fastest Honda. Hopefully they can keep it going at the Sachsenring.

I thought Westy did well for his first race in the dry, beat out Melandri and did what his team mate failed to do, finish.

I'm not sure why people think either Stoner or Rossi is a shoe in for the title. It's seems to be a 2 horse race, but anything could happen. Stoner fell off in the warm up, he could have injured himself, championship over, same with Rossi at Donington. Looked what happened to Elias! I hope that both these guys are able to fight right to the end of the season, no injuries, no bike explosions, just good hard racing and whoever comes out on top deserves the title.

Stoner proved he is competitive everywhere, Rossi needs to back up this win in Germany, I'm all for a close championship fight!!!!

All Blacks lost, team nz lost the yachting, so depressed

good one

Nice picture curve.

Sachenring will be interesting, I can't see Casey doing well at a very tight and twisty circuit like that. I'm predicting a Rossi whitewash there unless Honda sort themselves out, they showed signs of imrprovement today but Pedrosa deserves to be winning races. Don't forget that in 2005 he destroyed Stoner in the 250cc championship.

if theres one thing ive learned this season, its you cant write casey off no matter where the race is and looking at assen i would not write off hayden to be going for a win at sachenring either.
did ducati show there hand to early in the season allowing the others to now catch up,if so can they get the edge back or will the big 4 now stomp them into the ground.

well i have to say today was an example what rossi rides like when the tyres and setup is good for him, another example is nicky H his setup was good today and look what he turned out, casey rode strong today and is one hell of a rider but he hasnt had to many probs with the duke,
hes been very lucky with his setup.

and for those saying about the fuel that wasnt the case when rossi pulled himself from 12th to 1st casey had a big lead and an open track. i hope michelin can get the wet tyre rite now,

casey, rossi , nicky H all rode well today.
stoner was happy with 2nd and it was good to see him congratulate rossi thats good sportsmanship.

I just agreed with him...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (VHMP01 @ Jun 30 2007, 11:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I got lost a bit mate... Donington race in wet & dry: Stoner starts at 5th, drops to 7th and from there on to win! (I missed on the 9th position?).
<

Still very good!

oh yeah, your right. it was 7th.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (frosty58 @ Jun 30 2007, 11:35 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>hayden also ran out!

your joking.............. right?

No, i'm not. When you are fighting with Valentino Rossi for a world tittle, any point is necessary. That 5 points is going to be a failing.

Ouch! I amolst forget my countdown for Ducati title:

only 09 races remaining! C'mom Desmo, bring it on!
<

PS> Capirossi needs vacations. I hope Capirossi at least help Ducati with Team Title. At least...

EDIT:
<
, look at this thread, when Rossi wins we sky high the number of posts!

Yeah, i have to admit, was really dificult see Rossi catching up Desmosedici, but he deserves and rode superb.

Actually I thought it was good for Stoner stop keeping too much confident and keep feet on the ground.

Damn, you cant imagine how much time I'm expecting Ducati win a title!!
<

I can't see the other four stomping Ducati into the ground. Suzuki and Kawasaki never stomped Ducati into the ground even when Ducati didn't have such a powerful bike. At best, Yamaha and Honda can match Ducati, they all have competitive bikes, by the end of the season the only advantage the Japanese four might have is their resources where Ducati might be short of parts.

my biggest concern is that Fiat and yamaha are catching both the Constructors and the team title away from Ducati.

It would be so great for a fairly small Italian team to wipe the floor with the Two main Jap manufactures who probably have an unlimited budget.

after Assen Fiat Yamaha are only 3 points behind and Yamaha are only 16 points adrift.

gonna be close

Ducati never had a super pilot - sorry Capirossi - and it's only this that Ducati was lacking. Since Desmo16 GP6 Ducati have a competitive bike. When a man who knows setup a bike arrived, time changed.

Ouch! Capirossi need to do something!!!

So, the small Italian factory from Bologna is giving Japanese Bikezillas a run for their money!

Davi vs Golias? It was great. and will be. Ducati will win this year, you can write it.

hope im not dreaming too much.

Its true, GP4 strugled all championship. I wonder if Bayliss could match Rossi this year.

Bayliss got shafted by Ducati at the end of 2004...Suppo should have fired Loris, and kept Troy...Ducati would have the title by 2005 or 2006 easily with Mr Bayliss, but instead Ducati has another Aussie done Awesomely...

Thats a huge leap of faith to make.

IMO he was better in 2004

I haven't read through all the posts, just got to see tha race on eurosport. What a race! Rossi showed his metal alright, what a performance! Totally amazing stuff from Vale, I just can't believe what an aggressive, focused race he put in. Stoner too, on fire at the start but just didn't have the pace to match Rossi in the closing stages, it's really game on for those two. And I'm so happy for Nicky, it was vintage Hayden, he looked totally at ease on the Honda and about time too, I wish him a win soon, he likes Sachsenring and we've got Laguna after that. This is truly a great season.
