Aragon *RACE* Thread

looks like yam are playing it safe whats happened the last few races

or they HAVE got to play it safe maybe they dont want any motors going bang live on TV again Rossi's bike looked just slow

and Edwards get another year in motogp uh

makes you wonder why the moto2 125 boys even bother racing fast

Lorenzo's already fried two engines beyond repair - so I'm thinking it's pretty much a given that he and his crew will

be doing a lot of praying and finger crossing till season's end. If Stoner and Pedrosa continue to be in form - it's not

going to be any easier. And if Lorenzo bins it, and spoils one more engine, it could go down to the wire at the last race.

Tho the engine drama isn't as satisfying as close racing, it will at least keep people's attention.

Stoner was brilliant, controlled the race from start to finish

Pedro was smart, realized that Stoner had something for him after every attack

Nick, solid, glad he made the pass going into a corner, instead of a straight, happy for you buddy

Lorenzo, as well as the bike, is on cruise control.

Spies, impressive finish, held off a faster bike by teaching Dovi what late braking is all about..

Speaking of Dovi, anyone else think that Honda has programmed a little power out to avoid a lawsuit. His bike was faster than Spies Yamaha, but no where near as fast as Dani's, compared to the Yamaha of Lorenzo. Dani blew by Lorenzo like he was sitting still and pulled enough distance to where Lorenzo couldnt attack under braking , Dovi could make up ground on the straights but never really cleared Spies enough to where Spies couldnt get him back under braking. I kind of feel sorry for the kid, he signed a contract in good faith, either not realizing his employer could determine his final position, or choosing to believe that the world doesnt work that way. Now he is in panic mode and just made things a little easier for Honda

Simons face makes me puke a little in my mouth

LOLOL!!!! Man I bet his mom even makes him bag it!

You got your dream there.

Some great racing today. Spies Dovi, hayden, lorenzo rossi, sideshow bob. great track
<
<

You mean cotton-bud head? I will now refer to him as SSB forever more!

Yam sucked
<

Ben had a very positive race. His riding talent and the satellite Yam seemed up to the task of taking on Dovi's factory Honda, "the BEST? bike out there"...

................didn't see the Dovi crash.

Me neither... farkin' SPEED TV. Lookin' for a tube... if anyone sees one please post or PM me.

Spies ? not the wonder boy any more ?

Were you watching the same race? It was Pie-boy's riding skill that kept the factory Honda behind... He's still the wonder boy of the rookies and satellite riders...

rossi is a goner, wont ever win a motogp race ever again! u heard it

lol your are a class act you ....... circus freak....

how many races have you waited to come and say that ?

didnt think you would type much, to much time playing with your man ...... over replays...clown!

THANK GOD! THANK ....... GOD!!

Yesterday JohnnyK texted me: "I told God that if Nicky wins i will believe in him again."

My reply: "If Nicky wins i will become a priest!"

Well Nicky didnt win, but a podium feels oh so damn good!!!

GO MOHFACKIN NICKY!

(Disclaimer, Nicky himself said, in this game we dont go around celebrating 3rd places, but i'll take it. So, i realize a podium isnt reason to hav tears of joy, but when your a fan of a guy as cool as Nicky and see him burn for seasons on end, well a podium 'almost' feels like a win. Oh, i know i'll prob get a dumb response from some ......, but u can't spoil my happy emotion today...)

THANK GOD!!!!

(PS, yes, i actually did hav some undisclosed stains, but it wasnt on the furniture; I was so happy i woke Mrs. Jumkie up and did some dirty dancing.)

<

As they should my bretheren. Its not every day the Vicar of Christ graces ur excellent and United Kingdom.
<

Well he aint the leader of my religion. Mine (racing) was cut short because of him. Uk is a small country. if your that interested in the pope then go see him. No need for it to be on TV imo.

Most of you Church of England prods would've been out there lobbing rotten fruit and such a few decades ago... LOL!

Me neither... farkin' SPEED TV. Lookin' for a tube... if anyone sees one please post or PM me.

I was watching it live on MGP site and they didn't show the crash either. The director was frantically

switching feeds between the camera following Stoner across the finish and Nicky's pass on Lorenzo.

Dovi must have crashed just as Hayden was motoring by Lorenzo. Bout 8 seconds later they showed

the boys in orange pushing the Honda off the track.

I would say, the director for this race was miles smarter in his choices than the usual suspects. It really

helped the race.

Ur attitude is of concern. Rossi is probably Catholic. We will pray for u heathen.

I agree, we got to see lots of battles within the field but not neglect the front-runners. made for a good TV spectacle.

Stoner looked like Stoner of old, no doubt he controlled that race, he was just playing with Pedrosa. I wish Pedrosa wouldn't have messed up the first turn, if he could have gotten up there with Stoner at the start we could have seen a better battle for the lead. Was kind of cool seeing the individual races for position and Hayden's last lap pass on Lorenzo was a long time coming for a lot of Hayden fans, was definitely nice to see.

Is Ducati really back, or is this just a case of Yamaha managing the championship. I for one hope Ducati found the missing pieces and make these last races interesting to watch. Hate Stoner or not, he makes racing fun to watch, he retains his Alien status.

Finally an exciting GP!

The fight for the win wasn't exactly a battle, but there was at least intrigue as Dani charged through the pack and closed the gap. But as his opportunity slipped away as the race finished up, we were rewarded with two awesome battles for 3rd and 5th. Nice to see a serious victory wheelie, those seem too few and far between these days.

Another great ride by Spies. That was a victory of pure talent on the brakes to beat a stronger engine. Getting Dovi to crash out chasing him must have been icing on the cake. I can't wait to see him on a factory ride next year.

And finally Nicky gets the podium he's been waiting for, and he didn't get it for free either! Awesome pass to claim it.

I somehow doubt he is a devout worshiper and church goer
<
<
Saddam Hussein's 2nd in command was a catholic, the geezer wiv the big glasses. Not to hijack the thread but the pope apologised for some priests "unspeakable" acts. Strange choice of words i thought seeing as the pope has been accused of "hushing " it up
<

Anyway, i dont think i congratulated Stoner on a very fine race

Praise my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! He Lives.

Sorry I'm late posting but I've been in church.
<

I was beginning to get worried that Nicky would have his first year without a podium. Praise the holy spirit.

I was quite dissapointed that Speed once again will not show podium ceremonies or post race interviews. They blow the first 7 minutes on ........ that I fast foward thru and fail to show what people really want to see. Fans tune into sports for more than just the game. We want to see the passion and emotion whether it be victory or defeat.

All of that is at the end of races not in a pre race ........, stock answer interview. Praise Mary Magdelan

Dovi. That's what you call being snapped the .... off ...... I can't believe I'm saying this but "Don't Mess With Texas"

It didn't really help Dovi that his opponet was HRC and Spies. Praise Pope Nazinger

God Bless
