Martin has nothing to be ashamed of, he’d have gotten the better of anyone else today, bar #63
Bastianini did get perilously close in the end, I would watch out for him tomorrow.
M. Marquez’s finishing position is more down to machine than man, today.
Don’t think the KTM boys had anything more to give today.
Looks like Quartararo and Bez had a good back and forth in the last laps (judging by the timing tower), too bad we got to see none of it on TV. Taking nothing away from the phenomenal ride of #20, dare I say Yamaha could stake a claim to be the 3rd best manufacturer and relegating Aprilia to 4th?
Woe be the Aprilias. A misstep was made at some point and it does look like they need to go back a few step to go forwards again.
Good sprint overall. Can’t wait for the feature length race!

Great post, sums up a few of my thoughts, so I don't have anything to add to this at all.
I will say I am curious about what Enea can do tomorrow. I just want some kind of fight between the GP24's that is not just Jorge and Pecco.

It's a pity that we don't have a healthy Rins to judge the Yamaha by. How much of what we're seeing is the bike, and how much is Quartararo going beyond what the bike should be capable of?
I think that Martin and Bagnaia are so close because they're both getting everything reasonable out of the bike. I think that Quartararo may be going beyond... maybe.

in his defense, he got distracted by the track limits warning in his dash on the vesry fast right turns
Absolutely no surprises in this one, will be interesting to see if Enea can challenge for the win tomorrow.
But radio sure won't be a distraction...

I saw Q2 from Moto2 - very tight indeed. I only know the pole result of Moto3 qualifying. But, given that very interesting (IMHO) result, I'm going to watch it.

I will just say this.
It will be a crime if Herrera doesn’t get at least a wild card in Moto2.
She’s an absolute killer, the likes of who we see on the MotoGP grid. She used to duke it out with Quartararo, Viñales and the likes, so this should be of no surprise.
This lady has talent in spades.

David Alonso will never cease to amaze me.
He is so calm under pressure, and just settles in nicely without worrying about what anyone behind him is doing.

Yeah his ability to come back through the traffic and defend in the last laps is very reminiscent of Brad Binder in Moto3.
